Lunch out is more of a pain than a pleasure being gluten intolerant. Noticed the advert for gluten free cake so decided to look closer at the menu. Asked if the fish cakes had bread crumbs, so the waitress asked the chef. He came out and told us that they were only breaded when ordered and could be cooked without. Also they were just fish and potato, no flour in a roux/sauce. I ended up asking if I could have the mixed fish stew with something other than the baguette and was told they had gluten free bread. It was LUSH. Really well balanced flavour with a small amount of potato and a generous amount of coley, smoked fish, prawns and a few mussel's. I was impressed that the concasse of peppers had had the skins removed making them more digestable and mellower. Excellent value and a place we will visit again.

From the outside this coffee shop seems to be very small, but once inside it opens out into a little gem. The staff are very friendly and give you time to decide what you want, The coffee is one of the best I have had.

Had a fab lunch in mr billys today! Prob the best steak ive had for a long time, delicious sea salted fries, a very tasty rich Spanish stew with chicken chorizo and olives washed down with Cornish orchards heritage cider. Lovely food and a warm welcome, a great experience which i am sure we will repeat very soon. We would recommend it without hesitation.

Burgers are my go-to food in a new restaurant.. but the 'homemade burger' I had today was off the chart! Great ingredients cooked perfectly.

This odd-shaped tea house is nicely decorated and the welcome is warm.
It is an interesting place to enjoy a proper cup of tea or coffee, and it is obvious that the owners take a great pride in their establishment.
Oh, and I can thoroughly recommend the poppy seed cake - excellent !
