“Perfect location & modern, spacious apartment”
Reviewed June 18, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Loved our stay at The Bell Tower. Great views out over Penzance harbour and St Michael's Mount in the distance. Perfect location to explore the town with some quirky but welcoming pubs within easy reach. The apartment has been renovated to a very high standard and blends the old and new sympathetically. If we had one criticism it would be that its clear time & money have been invested reaching this standard but the showers could do with pumps to give you that luxury "drenching" experience (I know that's a picky comment!). Broadband has recently been installed and its adequate for browsing but you wont be able to upload all the pics you take on your days out, not that that's a huge concern. All in all a highly recommended location!

“Modern Apartment with Glorious Panoramic Views”
Reviewed May 23, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

It is always a treat after a long drive to park up outside an apartment with views of the sea. This is exactly what greeted us when we arrived at the Bell Tower. The climb up the short spiral staircase to the apartment has a very 'back in time' feel. The apartment is a total contrast with its very modern interior. The main highlight of the apartment is the large windows that provide a glorious panorama of Penzance bay. It was all too tempting to relax on the sofas and enjoy the views, rather than take advantage of one of the other main benefits of this apartment, namely its location. The apartment is ideally situated in short walking distance of the amenities of central Penzance as well as it being a well situated base for exploring the delights of the surrounding area.

“Arrival annoyance did not spoil our holiday.”
Reviewed April 30, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Arrived on time to pick up key at nearby pub as in owner's email. No key. Friendly pub. We were tired after journey from London.
Rang owner who called the housekeeper, who rang us to say she would be there in 40 minutes. Waited in pub! Housekeeper arrived and let us in to drop our bags but flat hadn't been cleaned after last guests. A two hour wait seeing the sights of Penzance. Eventually took possession three hours late. No apology from anyone.
After that things improved and we enjoyed the rest of our four night stay. Terrific flat, super views, excellent situation. Recommend Blacks up the road for a great meal and friendly service. Plus the pub, Admiral Benbow.

“Lovely place to stay ”
Reviewed September 14, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

The Bell Tower is a lovely place to stay in Penzance. With amazing views across St Michael's bay and in a great location for Central Penzance's amenities. The Bell tower is a clean comfortable place to stay with all mod con's for a self catering stay. Booking was easy and owners are really friendly and accommodating. Hoping to return next year.

“Fantastic! Great views and modern decor.”
Reviewed June 1, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

The bell tower is a lovely apartment and the top of a quirky spiral staircase. It had great views, and was right in the centre of town. The facilities were great, modern and very clean. I would recommend this stayz to anyone (who could climb stairs!)

“Great stay for a perfect balance of things to do and relaxation”

A charming 2 bedroom apartment with a wonderful view of Penzance Harbour and perfect location, we couldn’t have hoped for a better place to stay. Tastefully decorated, the apartment has all the essentials that you need for your stay and offers a great deal of comfort proving a relaxing haven. All rooms are spacious. Both bedrooms have bathrooms, one has an en suite with a shower and the other, which was my favourite had a shower and separate bath, which was a bath with a view, very much appreciated for the relaxation it provided following many beautiful Cornish coastal path walks. The location of the apartment provides great access to various attractions and walks including; St Michael’s Mount, Lands End, The Lizard, Sennen Cove, stunning Gwithian Beach, St Ives, the Eden Project, the Minack Theatre in Porthcurno and many more. With so much to do, our week seemed to disappear far too quickly.
We enjoyed eating out and cooking in some nights also. The apartment has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, which was excellent for sociable cooking and dining. There are many eateries including some smart looking restaurants in Penzance and various places that seems to do a dine early discount menu, not to mention the number of pubs offering good quality pub grub, so plenty of choice for whatever you fancy. We were partial to a visit to the Admiral Benbow Pub (literally a 2 minute walk from the apartment), also the oldest pub in Penzance the Turks Head just up the road and liked the Dock Inn, which had been renovated since our last visit. For a relaxing drink with another wonderful view of St Michael’s mount head to the Gig bar at the GoDolphin Arms in the next door town Marazion. At the other side of Penzance is Newlyn; being a town and fishing port meant that this was a regular place that we walked to buy fresh fish.

We had a brilliant break staying in the Bell Tower, have recommended it to our family and friends and would definitely stay again.

“A very Happy New Year”
Reviewed January 15, 2014 for a stay in December 2013

Lovely apartment, spacious, clean & well equipped. Great location. Highly recommended for a couple with 2 children or maybe 2 couples as both bedrooms have en-suites. Brilliant for out of season exploring of Cornwall. The apartment is very comfortable and caters for all your cooking needs with local shops, pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. I loved it so much i want to keep it quiet so that we can visit again on a whim but that would be unfair to those of you who are looking for a great apartment in a convenient location - book it without hesitation!
