On a bitterly cold morning in March we found a few places free in Minak car park and I was able to persuade my wife to challenge her fear of heights and explore this fascinating open theatre. The cafe is well run, good cakes and very good coffee. This pre exploration of the theatre from the safety of the cafe windows almost defeated her courage but she rose to the occasion and we stepped into the abyss.

We have not regretted our visit one jot. This must provide audiences a wonderful experience of almost Greek amphitheatre performances with the stage below and the turbulence of the seascape backdrop. Wonderful in fine weather but daunting on inclement days. There is an excellent exhibition of how Rebecca Cade had the inspiration of creating, designing and building Minak. Be brave and explore this theatre, you won't regret it.

Amazing place really worth visiting, even if it's a bit out of the usual tourist route. This theatre has been carved in the cliff rocks right above the Atlantic ocean. If you are lucky with the weather you can enjoy absolutely stunning views! There's a restaurant and the gift shop at the exit. The only downside is the car park - very steep with some of the narrowest spaces ever.

We visited in september end. not the best time of year but it was absolutely stunning. Worth a visit. Will probably go again when we go to cornwall.

The cafe is excellent. Gets quite busy but quality of food is awesome. Had the best cream tea with scones there.

This was a wonderful place to visit on a sunny day. Worth the £4 entry fee. Interesting to see the theatre even when not watching a play. We enjoyed a very nice cream tea in the café overlooking the sea. Steps leading down to Porthcurno beach. Fantastic coastal views.

Worth a visit. Minack Theatre snuggles into the beautiful Porthcurno. Two places to visit for the price of one!
