excellent base for touring this area of Cornwall
it is very well kept, it has clean and comfortable rooms
the breakfast menu is good, no evening meals but you can use the dining room for takeaways and the microwave is available also
service is good and very friendly
location is on the edge of town so its ideal, roadside parking only can be an issue at the busiest of times

Penzance is a good base to use for visiting this part of Cornwall if you like visiting surrounding areas not particular staying just there though

Room Tip: en suite available

Keigwin House is in a great location, walking distance to many restaurants and pubs. Ample street parking in April when we were there. Friendly and helpful owner, comfortable bed, clean room. Wifi available in dining room; weaker signal in our room.

Room Tip: Double room with ensuite was great. There are some single rooms with bathroom in hall.

I stayed here for three nights in September 2012. This was perfect for what I was wanting - a simple, clean, comfortable B&B in Penzance.

Fran was very friendly and accommodating with my early check in and let me leave by bags there for the morning on the day of check out, also stored a bicycle I had hired overnight in her garage.

The B&B is situated a lovely walk through a park or along the ocean promenade from the town centre.

Breakfasts were lovely, room nice and clean. I also got upgraded from a standard single to an ensuite double which was definitely a bonus - I had only had one night of rest before this since a 30+ hour long flight so this was very welcome!

Loved Cornwall, sad to leave after only three days. I'll be back and most likely staying in Keigwin house again!

We stopped here for the first time from Oct 06th - 07th.
The room was lovely, the food was fantastic, and Fran was very friendly and helpful.
The house is only a short walk from Penzance shopping area and only a mile from Newlyn, so a great base for exploring west Cornwall. Many thanks :-)
