We visited in May half term and enjoyed our stay so much that we visited the first week of the summer holidays too ! The apartments are wonderful, clean, bright and welcoming with the most stunning views, enjoyed from your own spacious balcony. When we stayed in May, it was fairly last minute so our two boys had to share a bedroom, but there was still enough living space for all four of us. For the return visit we booked a 3 bed apartment, which suited us better, as even more room for us all. Both stays were perfect and to be able to walk onto the lovely clean beach within about 45 seconds was just brilliant. Our two boys aged 4 and 7 loved body boarding and rock pooling and just generally enjoying a wonderful beach holiday. There is some just magical about Tolcarne Beach and the apartments and I not sure I have ever felt so relaxed. Have booked again for half term next time and not sure who is looking forward to it more, us or the boys ! All the staff are excellent and Mille in particular made sure we all had a great time, looking forward to seeing you in 2014. PS. As mentioned by others, The Breaks, right next door to the apartments, is also well worth a ( or several ! ) visit

Family with 3 boys 12,10,8 stayed in the chapel porth appartment for a week. The location is special, leave your car at the top of the hill and forget about it for a week. You can eat, drink in the brakes resturant, surf, bodyboarding and canoe in the sea. The sea comes to 30 feet away in high tide and then goes out a long way at low tide. Good for rockpools.

We stayed in apartments for 1 week.
The apartments are so well set up ,loving the way the kitchen area combines with lounge, then patio doors which open to large balcony with views you can only describe as absolute perfection.
As a family with 2 kids, we basically surfed 3 times a day all week, so the apartments where a perfect position for us to use through the day for all our needs.
We shall be booking again for next year!
Please keep up the fantastic work

This was booked after a recommendation from a work colleague. From the first time of talking to them, I was really amazed just how passionate the team are about making a stay fantastic. It was my wife's 50th birthday; without asking, Tracey put a bottle of bubbly, a cake and some bunting out - just amazing!! The apartment was beautifully turned out, clean, with everything you would need. The whole team were so accommodating, we felt like on of the family! Now first on our list to visit.. Thanks!!

We stayed in the apartment for a week. The apartment was excellent, clean ,well equipped and comfortable. We came for the surfing and my 12 year old daughter took advantage of the surf lessons on offer as well as enjoying herself body boarding. The stairs from the beach up to Newquay town are long and steep, so i would not recommend this place to anyone elderly or disabled in any way. The on site restaurant was very good and we ate both breakfast and dinner there. The only gripe we had was the noise from the builders. The owners are currently building new beach chalets and when we were in our lounge or on the veranda they literally were looking straight at us. Lots of banging and drilling - not relaxing. We complained and the owners did apologise as the builders had overrun.

A group of 8 of us stayed in the Poldhu apartment. It was absolutely beautiful from the decor to the stunning views. Could not fault anything. The location is perfect, actually everything was perfect. We also had beautiful bunting, scones and champagne waiting for us on arrival as they knew it was my sister's hen party and the service from Millie and Tracey (particularly when making the booking) was second to none. We all want to come back immediately!!! Thank you so much!!

We were very lucky last minute, to get an appartment in the sun by the sea in Newquay - first true summer weekend in years! The road access to Tolcarne is interesting but just adds to the fun and unusualness of the place. You couldn't get closer to the beach and sea unless you were in a boat! The appartment is lovely homely clean and tidy and bags of hot water.Millie came through for us at the last minute and nothing seemed too much bother and she explained everything clearly and it turned out exactly as she said- Don't you just love it when that happens! Two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms one is en suite with an amazing views through a velux balcony window. woke up at 4 so hear the sea and watch the sunrise and just couldnt get back to sleep - talk about getting your monies worth!! No arguing about who is going to drive as the bar and restaurant are staggering distance - the food and hospitality were fab and everything went quiet by not long after 11. Sunsets were stunning from Appartment balcony and restaurant. Surf hire right by the beach so NO excuses. Beach cleaned each day. Drying room for wetsuits and beach hut if needed! Can only find one fault and that was there isnt a freezer so only bring chilled food - my ice for the G&T didnt last long! :) You should try the heron tennis centre while you are in town its a really good and welcoming place £9 for an hours court. We cant wait to go back! Think i may have found my perfect weekend break! But heh dont just take my word for it try it yourself you wont be disappointed - thanks Millie and Tolcarne - i am afraid we are coming back! :()
