We booked fri-fri in a 2 bed chalet in July for two adults and one 11 month old. Loved the chalet, the size, clean, had all we needed (could have had a lamp in the bedroom though other than that was excellent). Quick check in, good shop on site, plus leaflets area, walking distance of Newquauy town centre, beaches etc. Will def go back. A really lovely caravan park, not too big, other guests seemed lovely.

Room Tip: I'd prefer a chalet over a caravan - we had a travel cot and it fitted in well in the second bedroom between the two single beds, and our daughter had plenty of room to crawl around!

Our Chalets are very popular, we try very hard to give value to our guests offering a comfortable base so close to the town and beaches.

Just returned from a four night break 5th-9th july using the touring park with a motorhome.
The site was so close to all the beaches and Newquay, clean and tidy with exceptional help offered by reception and very friendly on-site wardens.
The only comment i would make on the showers is that whilst they are good value at 30p for 10 minutes we would have preferrred 5 minutes with more power and heat .
We are already discussing a return visit for one week at least next year as there are so many beautiful beaches and places to visit we didn,t want to leave.
Think we were spoit with the weather however have visited many touring sites and this was definitely one to remember - well done trenance

Room Tip: pitch 50 very flat for touring vans

Only thing is te toilets and showers are a bit of a trek but they are nice and clean. Will definitely be returning soon :0)

Our camping facilities are well known thoughout the UK and further afield thanks to reviews in the Lonely Planet Guide; we welcome families/couples and the lone traveller from all over the world.

We had a great family holiday in Newquay at the end of May 2013. With having family that live in Newquay I've been many times but this was the first time I've stayed in a caravan and I'd definitely stay here again. The caravan had everything we needed, it was home from home. My daughters are ages 2 and 5 and were so excited when they found lots of toys, books and games in the caravan. It was nice and quiet at night. Trenance holiday park is in a lovely location by the boating lake, gardens and Zoo but not far from town. Molly's cafe on the site was very handy and the staff couldn't do enough for you they were lovely. They even have a pizza delivery service to the caravans. Lappa Valley, Holywell Bay, The Blue Reef Aquarium are all good places to go without having to travel to far. Next time we will probably go in July or August as it got quite cold in the bedrooms in the caravan at night, we had to have sleeping bags with a duvet over! All in all a great time was had by all.

We stayed in a chalet at trenance for 4 nights - chalet was dirty, old fashioned, had no hot water and was riddled with ants! The walk to newquay took about 20/25 minutes (group age ranged from 18-23). The mini market and cafe was extremely over priced. Wish I hadn't of bothered and had the right mind to ask for a full refund.

A confusing review as you title it "a waste of money" yet give us the max. score of 5 for value!
If only you had informed Reception of any problems with your Chalet they would have been sorted on the 1st day of your stay. Our location is very convenient and the average time of 15mins. walk to the town and nearest beach has never been challenged before.
