We spent a few days at the Kallacliff, Colin and Liz were very friendly and helpful, the views from the hotel are awsome, golden sandy beaches and the rugged Cornish coastline sit right on the doorstep, with easy access to Lusty glaze beach, and some lovely coastal walks. Breakfast was top notch, a large selection of fresh fruits, cereals and a hearty full English served in a clean and very stylish dining room with stunning sea views, in the evenings we watched several, beautiful sunsets from the bar area, all together a fantastic first trip to Cornwall!

What a great place located on the top of the town with a lovely sea view from the dinning room bar and sitting rooms also most of the bedrooms
Liz and Colin are two lovely people who go a long way to greet there guests and to make sure they all feel at home breakfast is out of this world and will most certainly set most people up for the day
Handy to the town and also very easy to get to and from other parts of Cornwall as you can get onto the main roads without going through the town
I would also like to wish both liz and Colin all the success in the world on there new venture they both work very hard at the kallacliff and deserve to succeed .

We recently stayed at the Kallacliff our first holiday in England for years, it wont be the last. We have found a wonderful hotel run by the friendliest hosts you could want. Colin and Liz were a great couple who run a well organised and very friendly hotel and what can i say about liz'sbreakfasts worth the money on their own.The standard of the rooms is very high, we were lucky enough to have the premier room No9 which has great sea views from every window. Overlooking Lusty Glaze Beach, a wonderful location for activity lovers and which has a very nice restaurant right on the beach. This part of Newquay was new to us, even though we have been there many times before, i think we have missed out on previous visits. You are only a few minutes away from a large choice of restaurants and bars but are in such a tranquil stting you would never believe. We wil be making more regular visits to the Kalacliff as we felt very much at home there. Good luck to Colin and Liz.

Room Tip: If available we would recommend room 9 as it is very comfortable with views that would be very diffi...

we stayed at the Kallacliff over the bank holiday week its a lovely clean hotel , the host Colin & Liz are very friendly although we didnt see much of them for 4 days as they had other commitments with Channel 4 which we shall be watching for sometime in October. In their absence we were very much looked after by Linda and her hubby. The rooms are lovely clean and bright , bed lovely and comfortable and an ensuite bathroom with shower. We had our own bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and soap. Also lovely white terry towling dressing gowns were provided . Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were provided and topped up everyday.A decanter of sherry was also on offer if you fancied a little drink, which we did.
We were in rooom 2 which also had a big comfortable settee and large screen TV on which you get all the Sky channels including movies and Sky sports also there is reliable free wi-fi access.

Room Tip: Ask for room 2

Arrived after a very long journey to a warm welcome and was immediately offtered a pot of tea. We stayed in a superior double room which was surperior in every way!! The room was very large, had a comfortable bed plus a sofa, sky TV, bug fluffy dressing gowns and a plentiful supply of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and kit kats! The only meals we had was breakfast, but the standard was very high. Cooked breakfasts made to order, plus cereal and fruit and this was included in the price. The owners were very pleasant and nothing ever seemed to be too much of a problem for them. The immediate location was quiet and relaxing and it had ample parking. I would highly recommend this establishment

We stayed at the Kallacliff over the August bank holiday and we were all impressed by the good standard of the hotel and the friendliness of the owners Colin & Liz. The rooms are very comfortable, decorated and furnished to a really good standard. Rooms are equipped with an en suite, television, tea & coffee facilities basically everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners made us feel welcome from start to finish and went out of their way to get our rooms made up as we arrived early. The hotel itself is located directly on top of Lusty Glaze beach and offers great panoramic views of the Atlantic. The beach itself is not easy access as its over 130 steps down, but totally worth it once you get there. We were lucky enough to be staying while the beach rugby was going on on the beach and there was live music on the beach that evening with fireworks. The hotel is located approx a ten minute walk from Newquay main town where there is lots going on including some good restaurants and bars. The Kallacliff is far enough away from all of this but ideally located if you do wish to pop into town. The breakfast provided in the Kallacliff was excellent with lots of choice including cereals, fruits, and a full English cooked to order !! Much nicer than your average B&B offering. Overall we had a great weekend in Cornwall and this was mostly down to the fact that the Kallacliff is a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Room 9 is the premier room which is large and sea views on 3 sides.

We loved this little B&B. Warm welcome on arrival, absolutely gorgeous room with a little balcony and a comfy bed. Hot breakfast cooked to order, but you can also get some cereals and a fruit salad as well. Owners Colin and Liz were very friendly and attentive, nothing too much trouble. Hotel is just across the road from Lusty Glaze beach, where we headed straight after our arrival. And just a short walk to the town center. Everything you need for a great time. Can't recommend it enough. Hope to come back here on another occasion.
