I recommend the Fistral beach hotel to stay. myself and partner spent 3 nights there on a last minute break. The room was a good size with a wonderful view of the sea and beach . The service we recieved was great all the staff friendly making sure we had a great holiday. The food was good value for money. We enjoyed our stay there and would go back.

Room Tip: room 3 a great room with a sea view

Everything so far (still on the trip) has been excellent. The staff on reception are extremely nice and the lady who served us for dinner was even nicer. The catered to Gluten free food and I ended up having one of the nicest dinners ever. They even warmed up some Gluten Free bread for me! Defiantly would come back again

If you stay you must book a room with a sea view. From the front of this hotel you have the most inspiring views of the sea and Fistral Beach from the bar, restaurant and the bedrooms. The view from the rear facing rooms is not what you come for.
It is 25 minutes walk across the beach and dunes from Newquay town which may well be a blessing for some but near enough for those who want to experience Newquay.
The hotel has recently been refurbished to a good standard.
The staff are very welcoming, breakfast is very good and the evening meals whether in the bar or the restaurant have good choice and are well prepared and accompanied by good service.
You can fly to Newquay from London , North West and Glasgow and the hotel is only 15 minutes drive from Newquay airport or £30 taxi, the bus service is hourly to Newquay town centre so not recommended for this hotel.
The spa is excellent.
So would I recommend it, Certainly.
It will suit couples of all ages, families and groups. You can surf, walk over the headland, play golf chill out or go further afield and easily explore Cornwall from here knowing that on your return to the hotel you will be welcomed and have clean and comfortable surroundings. Parking on site is somewhat congested but the road outside usually has space.

Room Tip: It must be a room at the front

Thank you 186337Acer123 for placing such a nice review and I am pleased that you made the most of all the local area has to offer. The rooms on the front do cost a little more but in my opinion they are definitely worth it when you get to wake up to such a fantastic view.

From the moment we stepped inside we were met with excellent service - we were given Room 3 which is a bay-window overlooking Fistral Beach and you could truly lie in bed and watch the surfers.
All the staff were incredibly attentive and really made you feel welcome.
Would highly recommend and we will certainly return. Thank you.

Room Tip: Room 3 has excellent views of the beach.

We stayed for 2 nights in a best room for our honeymoon and it didn't disappoint!! We had fabulous views over fistral beach the room was a good size and the bathroom was huge!! When we got there we had rose petals on the bed. We ate in the restaurant and they had decorated the table and put balloons up such a lovely touch! The meal was fantastic and we ate in there both nights without being dissapointed, same with breakfast good choice and lovely. Spa facilities were good too. I have nothing bad to say we really had a lovely time and staff where fantastic making us feel very welcome. We would definately go back maybe for our 1st year anniversary!!! Thanks to all of the staff!!

Just spent a four night break at the Fistral Beach Hotel in Newquay with my wife. A perfect location just out of town on the side of the main Surfing Beach. Probably too far to walk into town in the evening but £5 taxi fare makes it easy. Hotel exceeded our expectations. The whole hotel gives you a feel of space. We had a Sea View room which was well maintained and always crisp and fresh and quite spacious. The restaurant was excellent with good food at a reasonable price. The Bar was again very spacious and plenty of space to relax. However, what gives the hotel that little extra is the Spa/pool. This is an excellent facility and we would highly recommend a visit. Finally, in all areas the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Next time I visit Cornwall/Newquay then the Fistral Beach Hotel would be our hotel of choice.

Room Tip: Request a Sea View Room and definitely visit the Spa.
