We were a group of 3 families spending Christmas week together. This house was perfect for us, it looks deceptively small but it is a great size and we didn’t feel cramped. The bedrooms were all spacious, with tv’s in all rooms. There were plenty of bathrooms/shower rooms. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, and the dining table sat all of us.
The extra snug/living space was great too for the kids to escape the adults !!!
There is enough room to park 3 cars at the back of the property.
We had a lovely week and would definitely recommend this house for any time of year.
It is really well situated in Newquay, close to a pub !! But also a good base to explore the surrounding area .
Thanks , we had a lovely time.
If you're looking for somewhere within walking distance to the beach, the harbour and the town, you have it. This is an absolutely brilliant location. The house is well looked after, comfortable, has all the amenities you need including wi-fi. We found it more pleasant to eat in most nights as you have great kitchen facilities and a lovely little courtyard for sitting out in. The only suggestions I would make to make future stays even better would be to remove the stoned area in the courtyard as you come in, it was extremely difficult for me to return back to the house with the pram on my own, also, a full length mirror on the landing would be a welcome addition. Neither of those things took away from a lovely weekend and hopefully we'll be back.
PS, loved the touch of the welcome gift
We stayed for a girls surfing weekend and found that this house was everything we could ask for. It was well equipped and tastfully decorated with plenty of room for all of us to relax in comfort. The location couldn't have been better either being perfectly located between Fistral Beach and the town centre. We would definitely recommend this property.
My in-laws had treated their two adult children and their families to a family holiday to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. It was a well overdue holiday by all accounts, and the house fitted the bill for all of us. There were 6 adults and 3 children. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, but extra seating in the lounge would have been great, as at least one person had either had to sit on the toy box or on the floor.
The family bathroom shower was fantastic. Better than the ones at my new home !
Outside consists of an enclosed area, which was great for children. We also like the security entry rather than having to worry about a key all the time. The shower was great for the surfers amongst us - saved having to walk sand etc through the house to change. Would have been great there was a downstairs loo off the kitchen or outside.
Parking was not an issue for us, even though we had 3 large cars, and there did not appear to be a problem for other people passing with their cars.
The house is ideally situated to both town and beaches. There is a pub opposite, which inside is lovely and welcoming. Great views from the house to the sea, and sometimes a glimpse of the beaches. Close approximately to several other eateries as well, as well as a pitch n put, car parks and shops selling/hiring surf boards.

Beach View House is in an excellent location for Fistral Beach, Crazy Golf, Amusements and town. Parking for 3 cars can be a bit difficult at times if cars are parked behind the flats which back on to lane behind the house. Good pub opposite and we weren't disturbed by customers leaving at closing time. Phil the owner very obliging came at 9pm to make one of the king size beds into 2 singles. The one thing the property needs is more seating in the lounge, there aren't enough seats for 10, the only lounge seats were 2 tub chairs, 1 easy chair and a sofa which was too small for 3 adults to sit in comfort. There was 3 beanbags but we didn't think they warranted being called lounge seats, even our children didn't find them that comfortable. Sleeping 10 should also seat 10. The dining room was excellent and we would suggest that the toy box in the bay window is moved unto the dining room and a sofa put in the lounge bay window. Kitchen facilities were great but a few extra mugs would be useful. The only other minor point is that there isn't a full length mirror in the house, which most ladies would like (I think!).
