Just got back from this fantastic place. We booked this so we could spend a family weekend away and it ticked all the boxes. Lovely sized rooms big spacious accommodation, would definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone.
I stayed here with 9 friends over Halloween weekend for a catchup, and the place was fantastic. The host was really friendly and communicative before our stay, and the Barn was exactly as described. My friends were all bowled over by the size of the place and the facilities on offer. Lovely, quiet location on a farm, and easy drive to beautiful cliff and coastal walks. Great pubs nearby and excellent wi-fi access throughout. Would highly recommend for a large group.

It was my Mum's 60th birthday and she decided to celebrate it by staying in Trescowthick Barn for a week with family and friends.
We arrived on the Friday late afternoon and would be staying for a week. Located down some narrow lanes, it was quite hard to find the first time round even if you do use a sat nav, but we all managed to find it in the end (look out for the double gate and turn right just before a cottage then it's down that lane on the left hand side!)
The Barn was located through some iron gates and was very welcoming and I loved it immediately.
There is plenty of space for parking and our 4 cars had no problem parking here. The cottage is beautifully presented with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses to go around and a dishwasher to make washing up much easier. There were 8 of us altogether and 5 bedrooms with some bedrooms having their own en suite. I was in Roxy's room which has two twin beds which was comfy although it would have been nice if there was a mirror in this room as every time I needed to brush my hair or check my appearance I would have to go to the main bathroom.
The communal bathroom has a massive spa bath which I didn't use, but the shower was really powerful and easy to use. There were towels provided. Sometimes, there was some problems with the shower and no water would come through - not sure if this had to do with other people using the water - so just beware as you might be halfway through a shower and the water stops - this only happened to me twice in the week so it wasn't a big problem.
I absolutely loved the cottage and the kitchen was massive and where most of our social activity happened, but there is a living room with comfy sofas and we also sat outside when we had a BBQ one night which backs onto a large garden.
This cottage is well situated close to Newquay and other areas of interest and is a great central place to base yourselves as the major roads are only 5 minutes or so away.
There is also a bakery next door where you can order fresh bread and cornish pasties the day before to collect the next morning which we made full use of and the bread and pasties were absolutely delicious - the best pasties I have ever had!
Overall we had a very pleasant stay and I really didn't want to leave by the end of it. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful time, your cottage is beautiful and well looked after and I think we all would love to come back and stay if we had the chance again.

We have just returned from a stay at Trescowthick with the in laws. The barn was well set up, well equipped with plenty of space for all of us. My nephews loved the jacuzzi bath and pleaded for bath time. The garden provided great play space as well as a wonderful area to sit out and enjoy the sunshine. the conservatory enabled us to enjoy the outside even on the odd day when the weather was typically British. The location was terrific for beaches and local attractions and a supermarket only a few miles away for emergencies. We can recommend ordering fish and chips to take away from The Pheasant in nearby St Newlyn East, some of the best I have had.
An excellent holiday barn which was perfect for our large family group which included the dog! The space at Trescowthick is second to none with plenty of room for everyone to sit together to eat or relax as well as being able to spread out if you wanted some time to yourself. We were especially impressed with the kitchen which was well equipped and laid out to suit catering for a larger party. The whole place was clean and well looked after.
The barn is situated in a very quiet location with an enclosed front courtyard and good sized garden. However, you are not far from local conveniences which were just a short drive away as is the beach and several walks.
After visiting Cornwall for several years, and staying in a variety of holiday cottages, Trescowthick Barn was far and away the best - we have already talked about booking up next year.

We had a fantastic stay during the first few weeks of June 2015. There was only 6 of us after a few family commitments had arisen as we originally booked for 11. The barn was fab. so much space. The dogs loved every minute. It was a great base from which to explore. Jane the owner was extremely pleasant and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend and my 2 year old daughter cried when we had to go home! "Please can we go back to the holiday house! !!" we will definitely be back!

We have just returned from a week at Trescowthick Barn. We were a party of 10 people ranging from 2yrs to 82yrs.
We have stopped at lots of of holiday homes in Cornwall and this one was of the same high standard as the others. Plenty of room to spread out and have your own space if needed, but also large enough rooms to get together.
Central to most of cornwall.
Very well equipped and warm, great jacuzzi bath.
Downstairs bedroom and shower room which was great as parents find stairs difficult these days so they were able to stay down stairs.
Would highly recommend if you are looking for peace and quiet and seclusion .
