looked really good on internet reviews so was fairly disappointed with the reality, very tired and grubby with the worst Gents toilets Ive seen for a long time. good views from the decks out the back but fag ends everywhere and generally pretty dire. on the plus side we had no problem with the food.

We visited here a couple of times while on holiday in Newquay, and weren't disappointed at all. The cocktail variety is great- a massive list, and all really well priced at £9.50 a pitcher, and they don't scrimp on the sizes of the pitcher either- every time we got a four pint jug almost full to the top, and managed to get about 7-8 glasses out of it!
We had nibbles here for lunch, and they were really nice too! I wouldn't recommend it for a proper meal out, as the food just looks like your typical bog standard pub grub, but you get what you pay for!
All the staff were really friendly, and we really enjoyed all our visits!

Dropped in here while on holiday with a group of friends to grab some food after a long day. Once we'd decided what we we're going to order we we're told that there was about an hour wait on the food, so i have no complaints on the wait time as we were forewarned.

While waiting we we're asked by the waitresses if we'd ordered things that we hadn't and seeing them wander round trying to figure out the numbering of the tables, an although this occasionally happens in most places, almost every time any food came out, it got a little tour of the venue over many tables before finding it's customer.

When my food eventually arrived (first even though i ordered last) my friends we're told their food would be right out. After 10 minutes passed it was apparent that wasn't the case at all, we later figured that mine must have been destined for another table originally, but no waitress came to apologize to my friends that there was a mix up and there'd still be x time to wait on the food. About 15 minutes after i'd finished my food my friends food began arriving, the first two at least before another 10 minute gap or so. At no point during anyone's eating we're we asked if everything was ok, not even when taking plates away, as it definitely wasn't.

My food that arrived (a bacon cheeseburger) the meat appeared to be a thin cheap variety which was extremely burnt. Part way through i also noticed that they had forgot the relish that was supposed to come with it, not that you'd get a chance to ask a waitress as they seemed to be too busy giving the food tours of the venue and by this time quite honestly i was ready to just finish up as soon as possible to get out.

Had a good value meal from the 2 for £10 list. I went for the Hunters Chicken it was very nice with a reasonable size portion. The Cheesy galic bread I had to go with it was nice but the onion rings were a bit limp. The pub has a good atmosphere & the prices are very reasonable.
