We went to Little Kahuna as we read the reviews and thought we just have to try this little restaurant as the reviews were so good. We traveled 250 miles to test it out.
I must say that we were not disappointed, we were greeted as we entered the door with a cheery hello and taken to our table, one of only 5 so we advise you book in busy times.
The food is so nicely cooked we can only describe it as perfect, the scallops were cooked just perfect and melted in the mouth, and the red thai curry for main was to die for, we followed up with creme brulee, again it was perfectly done.
The service was perfect all the staff being very nice and polite, what more could you ask for?
Thanks to Alisha,Kelly,Ryan and Arron for a lovely evening and a beautiful meal.

“Cracking little place!”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

We were visiting Newquay and met up with some family who live in Newquay and based on the reviews decided to give little kahuna a go. I have to say we were a bit worried by the front of the place as it is very unassuming and weren't sure whether we had chosen the right place... But my oh my when you walk in and see the kitchen and the food that is being produced you know that you have the right place. This place is a real little gem. Only 5 or 6 tables so really is rather quaint but the food is worthy of a high class London restaurant. Stunning flavours l, stunning looks and stunning portions! I've got a big apatite and I was not disappointed with what I got! I really cannot fault this place. It was a Thursday evening and every table was full and some of the tables had a second sitting of customers so that really tells its own story. Would definitely go back the next time we are in Newquay my aunt and uncle who live nearby are also suitably impressed so they will be back in the very near future! Keep up the good work! :-)

We found this intimate restaurant through Trip Advisor and found the ratings 31 of 32 excellent) hard to believe. However, despite the high expectations, it didn't fail to impress.

The squid tempura melted in the mouth and nasi goreng spicy and delicious. Great service, great food.

Best to book - couple of tables on the way in and by the loos.

“Good things in bijou bistro!”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

Returned here last week and very happy that the quality of food and service excelled!
Apparently people haven't yet taken it up that they serve lunches. With the cinema across the road where better for eats before or after the early shows.
