Couldn't ask for anything more from this delightful little English tea room which looks out on to a delightful garden. We were two fellas looking after toddler twins plus a three-year old, while our wives enjoyed a spa visit. We were struggling to cope, but the hosts made everything much easier and offered more than great service. Lovely food, nicely served by friendly and smart staff. What more could you want? Full marks in every department!

Found this cafe on trip advisor and planned to visit, we purposefully sought it out and oh boy we were not disappointed. The scones, jam and cream were like heaven.....quite delicious... Highly recommended for traditional British afternoon tea. Afternoon tea will never be the same til we visit again!! X

Always one of our first points of call when we visit the area (usually twice a year). Friendly staff, good food and pleasant surroundings. Cannot praise it highly enough.

Delightful tearoom in a lovely, quaint village. We visited as a large family of 9 on two occasions during our holiday, once for coffees and the second time for lunch.

The crab salad that I had for lunch was the best I've ever had. So fresh and delicious, and a good sized portion. The rest of my party enjoyed their lunches too, especially the homemade pasties.

We were lucky with the weather and sat outside in the garden area, which is very pretty and a real suntrap (and also doggie friendly).

The ladies who work there are very friendly and welcoming, and had no problems dealing with our large group. The kitchen section was a hive of activity, and it was nice to see everything being made from scratch on the premises.

All in all, a very nice coffee stop, but fabulous for lunches.

So it's lovely to have rewarding comments. I'm totally new to this response bit of TripAdvisor but will carefully proceed! Hope to see you again. Jenny

Visited this tea room on our last day in St Mawgan. Lovely home made food, good value and well worth the little wait we had. Loved the table decorations and the atmosphere. shame there isnt more seating as i expect in the summer it gets really busy!

Thank you for your comments! I love it when staff get compliments - they all work so hard for our business. We've now opened the top section of our garden as we are so busy - so lots more seating available! Do hope you visit again
