Had some great tasting food on 2 visits within a week to this large, ordinary, family pub. Traditional local ales (try the cornish rattler cider brewed just down the road Mmmmmm) didnt like the look of the carvery so ordered off the menu, decent sized portions & tasty, reasonable value, salads, burgers & pasta dishes all look & taste fresh. Great for a change if your staying in a local campsite. Couple of miles outside Newquay so not too busy & easy parking.

Visited with children and made to feel very welcome. Beautifully home cooked food, a little pricey and quite small portions but would go back and walking distance to Hendra holiday park, next door to circus and Scott may

we booked and said we were bringing our dog, and we reserved a table, when we got there there was a fuss, apparently dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. The staff were accommodating and said it would be fine on this occasion but not a great start. The food was average, I had the special fish cakes which were fine but the decor was very drab and overall I don't think I would go there again if I had the choice.
