We stayed in Newquay for three nights and ate at Butchers Bistro for two of them, well happy with both meals! They are on the main coast road I think and advertise themselves as a Steak & Seafood resturaunt and they do exactly what they say on the tin but OMG they do it sooooooo well. I believe they provide meat to other local resturaunts in the area and decided to give it a go themselves. So happy they did as we loved this place. The quality of the food is amazing and the chefs aint bad either, I had a ribeye and fillet steak and both were really good quality, very well cooked and accompanied by the best hand cut chips ever. As a steak eater I would thouroughly recommend this place. The first night my partner had the Seafood Mariniere.....it was massive and it seemed as though they used the mussels just as a filler & there were masses of them) and from what he said it only got better...it also had 4 hugh crab claws, langustines, prawns and local caught fish, let me tell you he struggled, but managed to finish. The chefs Lavander bread is also delicious. It had a really good wine list that won't brreak the bank. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and are really helpful too! If you are visiting Newquay then definetly give this place a try, I promise you wont regret it. Lovely people, lovely atmosphere and will absolutely be going back!!!
