we re-visited the park yesterday (bank holiday sunday) after about 3 years. we wont be going back again! since our previous visit the payment sysyem has changed from tokens to pre-paid cards with the inevitable price rises. the cost of rides was a huge dissapointment especially given the very poor condition of the equipment , short ride lenghths , long queues due to rides being understaffed (one staff per 2 rides). i dont mind waiting if a ride is busy but i do object to having to wait for an adjacent ride to finish before being admitted to the empty one you are waiting for! the park was quiet but it is not unreasonable to expect decent staffing levels. some of the staff were helpful & friendly while others seemed to be in some sort of coma (like the one i was slipping into while endlessly waiting). the whole park is dreary , drab and thoroughly depressing. my wife used the toilets and was digusted at the condition of them. the final nail in the coffin was that the cash desk in the amusement arcade was closed and when my 8 year old son asked to change a 50p in the adjacent cafe he was refused and told to go the shop further up the park , involving yet another wait. at this point we left.....and won't be returning!

Definitely a location for family outings and good weather. Some of the attractions are a little dated and expensive for what they offer. The golf course is pretty good and the pitch and putt is actually quite a challenge. *tip* take your own old golf balls or pay 50p for each one that you lose!

Bar on site for refreshments is a little cramped, we've never yet tried the food though it seems to be the standard microwave/grilled offerings.

This is a small park but great fun. Dogs are allowed which is a bonus. We played crazy golf and went on the go carts etc... and really enjoyed ourselves again. Definitely worth a visit to keep kids entertained.

I have been coming down to Cornwall (the Newquay area) for most of my life and I am embarrassed to admit I had never even heard of this place till on the off chance we spotted the sign outside the gates when we were heading down to holywell bay beach. First of all the prices can be a little bit confusing at first glance as everything is done on swipe cards, very high-tech and simple when you think about it, 10 credits = £1 so for instance if a ride cost 30 credits the ride works out £3. Although if you buy a bulk deal you get extra free credits to spend. We started off with a treck in the maze, and what I maze it is! we spent the best part of an hour and I am embarrassed to admit we had to ask a member of staff to give us a little help, the staff member who's name I don't remember was polite and clearly knew the maze well as he walked us out without a single wrong turn. Next we went on the go-karts which was fun although the height charts can be annoying, but there's kart options for everywhere and staff seemed more than happy to explain where and what rides were best for our two younger children. toward the bottom of the park (where there's possibly one of the greatest views in Cornwall) we let the young ones on the water balls, we were lucky as the weather had scared most people off but this worked for us as we had to queue very little, although as its off season some staff seem to run two rides. the overall experience was great and I will be returning again this summer for sure.

Visited today, what a shambles. The staff didn't know what they were doing, it was one member of staff for approx 3 rides.
My children went on the trampolines, the safety nets were shredded and unsafe. One child could have easily fallen through. Another woman removed her child from the trampoline with an attached harness because the staff member had not attached it correctly.
We paid £20 for tokens, £10 was instantly used up for 2 adults and 2 children walking through the maze (which wasn't finished being put together, there were signs all over the floor) £10? Really?
We went back to get more tokens at £20, there was an offer if you bought £40, you get £9 free, the girl refused to do this even though we had bought the tokens just 5 minutes previously, a little unfair.
I grew up in this village and this used to be a fab place to go, unfortunately no money has been spent on refurbishment since I was a child (I'm 37) and in some areas it simply was not safe enough.
