Description: We are a small family run Bar serving Spanish Tapas, facing the beach in Porth Nr Newquay. Sorry we do not allow children under 16 as we are a fully licensed bar, adults have to have somewhere to go without children. You can sit & enjoy a glass or bottle of Spanish wine/ sangria or beer in our relaxing bar or out looking over the beach or if you feel a bit hungry why not try some our our tapas. All our tapas dishes are cooked fresh to order (if hot) & are from authentic Spanish recipes. Dishes cost from £3. 99% of our dishes are gluten free. We have meat, fish, vegetable dishes, dips, Spanish cheeses & meats. We say for a snack 1-2 dishes or substantial meal average of 5 dishes per couple if you want a full meal

An excellent little restaurant providing superb food in good quantities for very reasonable prices. This is one of those often missed gems that you stumble across and want to return to again and again.

The food, wine, beer and service were excellent and I would recommend if you visit the area to make it a place to visit.

This unpretentious restaurant is worth a night out on anyone's holiday. In a great location by Porth's sandy beach, with the option to sit outside under the stars. The owner has a dry sense of humour, is welcoming and efficient and for our first experience of tapas and complete ignorance of Spanish, was able to offer a down to earth easily understood guide to the food and style of menu. The decor is simple and dated, but don't be deterred. The food is tasty and enjoyable. A good selection of meats, slightly disappointing selection of fish, particularly for a coastal location, but refreshingly good choice of veggie options. The chicken with chorizo was particularly flavoursome. They recommend 5 dishes per couple as a guide and we chose 11 between 4 of us, split between starters and main course. We were all a bit peckish after the main course, possibly because it was just so moreish so we chose puddings and then felt nicely full! Without our drinks the meal was £66 for 4 people. The best part for us was an enlightened approach to permitting well behaved dogs in a separate part of the restaurant where our 2 large golden retrievers laid out comfortably and slept without being trodden on or being seen by diners without dogs. Perfect! Can't wait to return one day!

We visited this restaurant two years ago for our first experience of tapas - we loved it so much we sought it out this week when we returned to the area. Wonderful food, great service, relaxed atmosphere and some absolutely gorgeous passion fruit sorbet!

Gambas (prawns) & scallops are great! Add the usual Spanish classics patatas bravas and some extra Greek/cypriot classics and it's a great sharing mix - even for a couple (which we are!). Recommend a visit!
Ps - vino Tinto - don't go passed the Claude Val ! Great smooth option

Great food, lovely setting - worth the trip if you are staying in Newquay, but if you are staying in Porth, don't even bother going to look for somewhere better!
