“Apnea for Surfers.”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

This course has boosted my confidence for breath holding. Having a better understanding of the physiological aspects of holding my breath has helped enormously. The routines we did in the pool were really helpful, and now instead of just doing lengths of the pool I can do routines which are more beneficial for the hold downs whilst surfing. Ian was a great teacher and the course both in and out of the pool was very thorough.

“Brilliant day!”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Went on one of the last trips of the season on a days line diving. Fantastic weather, out of nowhere. Definitely going to do another trip or two next year.

Reviewed September 4, 2012

Ian ran a brilliant 2* AIDA course, it was an enjoyable and enlightening weekend. I'm planning to do some more with Freedive UK next year, would definitely recommend Ian to anyone planning on learning freediving.

“Professional FreeDiving Training”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

If you are interested in learning about FreeDiving and understanding how, with training, you can hold your breath for far longer than you ever thought possible, this is one of the few and best places in the UK I think you could choose to learn. With the clearer seas off the coast of Cornwall, so long as you have a good / warm wetsuit (though there is a facility to hire your own on the day), the range of courses, snorkelling and freediving opportunities offered by FreeDive UK are excellent. The two day AIDA Course is highly recommended as the main way to get going with FreeDiving, The first day mainly in the pool covering techniques, practice and theory. The second day of this course is with Kayaks out to sea to put into practice. All makes for a very interesting self reflecting couple of days, doing an activity you are unlikely to do anywhere else in the UK and learning more about what you are capable of.

The instructor, is excellent in terms of providing a very friendly and relaxed introduction to what is seemingly a difficult sport, and making feel at ease. The instruction is comprehensive, personable and fun. Where possible, he was very accommodating to the small groups needs and wants for the day within the scope of completing the course.

If you like water sports, and particularly if you like Snorkelling,... do something different and learn more about what you can actually achieve.. take two days out to do this course.
