Description: We are a family run business providing reasonably priced family pub grub to our regulars and any holiday makers. We are situated in beautiful Newquay but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We have a traditional indoor area where you can choose to sit in the main bar, Cornish corner or our restaurant but we also have 2 fantastic outdoor seating areas. We welcome families and dogs and we provide a wide range of food and drinks to enjoy.

Visited this pub on a wet and miserable Sunday. A warm welcome from the staff and the landlord and his wife. A good choice of local beers were on offer which is always a good sign. We ate in the evening but the Sunday roasts were flying out from the kitchen and they looked very good. Our meals were excellent and hot. There was also a quiz night and a open the box which was really good fun. Excellent and well recommended.

We visited the Tavern Inn on 29th October 2013. We received a warm and friendly welcome. We were in a party of six and we visited the Inn at midday. The service was very good and the meals were a good size portions very very nice Thank you! You might find this Inn difficult if you are disabled, as there is no disabled bathroom facilities If you can manage a few medium size steps you will be fine. Having said that a small hand rail up the steps to the ladies would be of help.
It is near Newquay town. Would we go again Yes! There is a path leading into the Inn as well as a shallow steps enterence.....Very nice Thank you!

We visited Newquay for the first time in 25 Years and was very pleased how things are looking . We only found The Tavern Inn on our last day of our holidays, just wish we found The Tavern earlier. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and warming atmosphere.
We were served excellent meals on our visit on Friday 6th September. We all had different dishes and all were expertly cooked. The plates over flowed with quality food. We were so full we could not find room to try one of your special desserts. We will recommend you where ever we travel. Thank you again.
