Arrived on Maundy Thursday and left Bank Holiday Monday, staff at reception were helpful as was the guy on TREV 3 the moped that guides you to your pitch. It was very quiet and suited us very well. We took our 2 dogs and were very pleased with the dog field and the access to Holywell Beach and the Coastal Path.

We stayed here during the very wet summer last year. When we arrived we were told to park our car and caravan next door at Holywell bay funpark and walk back to reception, the field was sodden and it was pouring with rain so my poor husband got soaked. We then waited to be escorted to our pitch, when we got there there wasn't a blade of grass on the pitch it was just mud,you couldn't even stand up on it so back to reception my poor husband went to see if there was a hard standing pitch free and thankfully there was,we paid the extra and moved rather quickly to our new pitch. Reception staff were helpful throughout. Elsan points were always blocked despite trying various ones in different blocks. Toilet/shower blocks were often not very clean admittedly this is probably due to the disgusting way some people think it's funny to throw loo roll, nappies etc around! The rest of the facilities are quite good but everything shuts on 1st September and the place becomes a ghost town. Unfortunately prices do not go down so ends up being a very expensive place with next to no facilities available. Woody's is great by the way, great food and atmosphere. You can walk to the beach but you do need to be reasonably fit to be able to do so as it is quite a hike. Lovely location but not sure if we will return.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for the hard standing pitches and make sure you check what facilities are available du...

This was our first stay at a camping /caravan holiday park and we were really impressed. The cleanliness of the toilet/wash block was immaculate with an excellent supply of hot water. Children's facilities are excellent and the staff are really friendly. We shall be returning as overall it was a great week.

I visited trevornick with my other half and her family (her mum and dad, 18 year old sister, 10 year old brother) and our friend (19). We stayed in our own 4 berth caravan, awning and annex.
We stayed for 2 weeks from the 11th august and even when the weather was shoddy the shop, arcade and club made it better.
We loved quiz night in the sports bar - good family fun and then for the more adult quiz goers there's the one in woodys bar which is accompanied by a fantastic acoustic session.

The facilities are always clean. The only gripe I have is with the spiders nests in the entrance of toilet blocks but there's nothing that can be done about them :)

For those who love the beach, its only a short walk over the sand dunes, and if you don't want to walk for a dip there's the on site pool.

The staff are extremely friendly, especially at the shop in the morning! the bakery goods are really nice and you can get quite a lot of misc. Goods too.

Lots around to visit - Newquay, parranporth, cyder farm, Newquay zoo, aquarium etc. Great for our 10 year old as well as us adults!

Overall a 5/5 visit and we will be back again next year!
Definitely recommended!

We have just spent a week at Trevornick and I have mixed feelings about it. Now I haven't camped since I was a girl guide so I was a bit apprehensive. We travelled as a couple but with another family as well. We stayed in a Eurotent and I cannot criticise the facilities and the tent at all. They really do provide everything you need, maybe an electric kettle could be included and the hob kettle and the tea pot spill everywhere but apart from that there really is everything you need.

The limited shop sold the basics and wasn't horribly expensive. We ate in Stables twice and found that quite nice. The entertainment in the bar we found pretty awful and wasn't really our cup of tea.

I think the toilets and showers could have been kept a bit cleaner really but a lot of this is down to people not being considerate and leaving them in a mess when they have finished.

Other things I didn't like was kids racing around on scooters too fast, people telling their kids off at the top of their voice first thing in the morning and general lack of consideration for others.

All this aside the area is beautiful and there are fabulous walks and gorgeous beaches to explore. I would definitely go back to the area but not camping!

I have been staying at Trevornick for 7 years now. If you want a quiet holiday where children are seen and not heard don't stay here.We have always enjoyed our stays but this year too many people with massive tents making the pitches seem smaller and muddier, some leaving the site without even taking them down at the end of their stay. My only problem this year was people with dogs constantly using or pitch as a toilet. and skate boards hurtling passed at 20mph .There is a dedicated dog field but few seem to use it. I have read some negative comments on hear today but my belief is that Trevornick is a good but expensive site that is becoming a victim of a minority campers who have no respect for themselves or anyone else. will go back next year.and hope there are more caravans .If you don't want to walk to the local beach use the Nation Trust car park by the beach plus the newly fitted play area is small but kept clean and tidy
