Stayed here recently on a KGB deal, it was amazing, we were given a sea view room at no extra cost, breakfast was stunning, all staff were so friendly, the new bar manager was great and made us cocktails that weren't on menu and was extremely helpful, even treated myself at beauty salon x please do deal again x

Went on a KGB deal and was treated no differently, in fact we were given a sea view room at no extra cost. All staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Room lovely and spacious with a short walk to the beach.

Breakfast 1st class and all rooms realy clean and welcoming.

Highly recommended hotel :)

The Hotel Victoria is nicely situated overlooking the sea, near the town centre, bus stops and the train station. The rooms are old fashioned but comfortable and warm. The facilities are good with a spa, indoor pool, bar, spacious lounge and special offers advertised at reception daily.
The breakfast was good but let down by the serving staff as if there were over half a dozen people in the restaurant they tended to panic . On the last day we were there we were shown to the table and just left for ten minutes without orders being taken and one couple had been waiting an hour for their breakfast this spoilt a good stay
The bus to the Eden project can be caught from the post office next door cost is 8.40 return but you get 4.00 per person of admittance to the project showing bus tickets There is a nice pub call the Griffin five minutes’ walk away for evening meals’ if you do not fancy eating in the hotel

We were here last year and came back this year! We love the ambiance and the staff are very friendly and helpful! Location is great! Our rooms both times were lovely and clean and we had a Sea View. Also they have a wonderful pool and restaurant, pub in the hotel. You can get to any of the seven beaches with just walking there. Its right near all the restaurants and shops, pubs. Also if you have a car you can explore the whole area very easily. We were at Penndennis Castle, Eden Project. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here and always felt welcomed. Newquay is lovely lots to do hiking, fishing, laying on the beach and surfing!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the back have views of the water and beach.

Just back from two nights in Newquay staying at the Hotel Victoria.
Yes the hotel is old but the first impression was very impressive. The staff at reception could not have been more welcoming and helpful.
Our room was on the third floor (at our request) and was really big. We had a double bed and there was also a single bed in a recessed part of the room. We did not need this but it provided a useful place to put out cases! The bathroom was small and could have done with a little bit of TLC but it was clean and functional.
The view from the window was amazing-we had booked a sea view room-and I think this really made the stay more special.
Location was brilliant and we got a bus to Padstow from along the street. We could have got buses to just about anywhere including the Eden project and Truro. A day rover ticket was £8.50 each and although the bus to Padstow took over an hour, we passed some amazing scenery so it was worth doing.
I got 20% in the spa so had a lovely manicure before coming home.
All in all, a lovely hotel and we would certainly do back there again.

Room Tip: Ask for a high room and pay extra for the sea view if you have to. When we went the price was the same as a room without a sea view.
