I stayed here with my partner over Easter weekend before we went to a friends wedding. It was an absolute delight! The whole b&b has been renovated and decorated to a lovely standard with unique finishing touches, like the artwork in the breakfast room and the old barbers chair in the main bedroom. The breakfasts were delicious and cooked perfectly. Mark and Carol were very welcoming and great to chat to! My partner even braved the sea with the free wetsuit and surf boards they have to offer. Will deffinately be returning here and have already recommended Bedlam house to friends and family.

We have short breaks in newquay 3 to 4 times a year and have stayed in lots of hotels and b&bs but this one was by far the best we have stayed in, the rooms are fantastic and like the rest of the house are spotless, the breakfast is just out of this world with a great variety of choice no need for lunch because your still full from that great breakfast.
Carol and Mark were so friendly from us getting out of the car on sunday to us leaving on wednesday we came as guests but left as friends, so our many trips to newquay in future will be spent at Bedlam House. We stayed from the 31st of March to the 3rd of April 2013 and have allready booked for 3 nights in July.
Try it once and you will return.

Our stay at Bedlam House was perfect. We stayed for two nights over New Years and found the great atmosphere of Newquay was perfectly complemented by the warmth and generosity of owners Carol and Mark. We spoke to Mark on several occasions and found that he is very experienced in the hotel business - it shows! Our breakfast was delicious each morning, the home made bread is to die for! We were also treated to a complementary bottle of wine to celebrate New Years! The rooms are cosy, but designed in such a way that they work flawlessly, never feeling cramped. Rooms and all furnishings are well thought out, they clearly have a passion for design. Mark is also keen to recommend restaurants, pubs and places to visit, he's a wealth of information! I would happily stay again, and have recommended it already!

Rooms where clean and modern, service was amazing, staff could not help you enough. Price was spot on. I had a great time in Newquay and this little gem was one of the reasons. I shall be back to visit again with standards set as high as this!

Bedlam is a lovely old house, beautifuly and sensitively refurbished. Mark and Carol are the perfect hosts. The bedrooms are very comfotable and our bathroom was a delight especially the shower. Following major surgery I had not been allowed to have a bath or shower for 6 weeks. I revelled in it. The old dentists chair in our bathroom was a lovely touch. Everywhere was spotless. We had tea, coffee and hot chocolate making equiptment in our room and as well as biscuits there were also sweets the old fashioned kind. Breakfast was wonderful freshly cooked. Homemade bread made wonderful toast. I would recommend Bedlam to anyone. Only a few minutes from the sea and the town a perfect holiday destination.

Room Tip: We had the front double room on the first floor. It was large, had a very comfortable bed, plenty of...

Wonderfull, a great welcome, quirky fun decor and some lovely touches. Breakfast was great including toast using home made bread. The owners clearly love doing what they do.

There are some grreat places to eat nearby. The owners will point you in the right direction. The only reason that I did not give top marks is that in the room I had the bed was a small double. I think these days a kingside is expected.

All in all a great place where you will be well looked after by people who care.
