Found on a search engine, likes the idea it was just outside the town centre (quiter) we got an outside room with our own little patio, and te stay was as good as everyone else on here has rated!!

Value for money, very clean & tidy - and the owners are so friendly!!

I cannot fault the Tregarthen Guest House! It was very clean and tidy, beautifully decorated, lovely breakfast, quiet, and fantastic service received from the owners - all at a brilliant price! Only a short distance from the center of Newquay so taxi fares are cheap and you are within reach of everything you need. I will definitely be visiting again!

Room Tip: Choose the garden suite! You have your own patio and entrance from the garden so you do not have to...

This was our first visit to Cornwall and felt we dropped on by staying here. We definitely recommend it, and we will be staying here again.

We felt that a 10 minute walk into town was preferable to a noisier town location.
Parking was a plus too.

Our first break to Newquay, stayed at the Tragarthen for 4 nights,” Well what can one say” the only thing to say is look no further THIS IS THE ONE, Julie, is a true professional, a super host makes you feel welcome and at home straight away. The rooms are modern, immaculate and very comfortable. A super breakfast every morning cooked by, Julie. Location is just right for walking to town.

Thank you Julie & Jim will see you again in the future without any doubt.

My wife and I stayed at the Tregarthen for the weekend .it was like home from home absolutely spotless could not fault it the rooms are excellent with all the creature comforts of home and the peace & tranquility of the place is bliss away from the bustling nightlife of the town. Which is 10-15 mins walk away. The breakfast. I marked 10/10 a must have !!!!
I would like to say a BIG THANKS !!!!! To the host Julie & Jim for such a pleasant stay and look forward to seeing you both in the not to distant future.... Regards Paul & Sam

We've tried quite a number of B&Bs over the years and several in the Newquay area and Tregarthen is right up there with the best. Lovely hosts, high quality bedroom interiors with great touches such as a fridge and access to plates etc for take-aways and also a very good breakfast. All at a very reasonable rate. It's also in a good position, off the main Henver Road, so nice and quiet, but close to everything. We'll definitely be back.

Room Tip: Julie and Jim only put a proportion of rooms on booking agencies such as Laterooms so call direct, y...

This was our second visit to Tregarthen, standards on both occasions where excellent. Julie and Jim where perfect hosts friendly but not over powering. Everything was spotlessly clean and modern. The fridge and own entrance where added bonus's. Thanks for everything, will definately re-book.
