We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was clean and spacious, with a decent sized bed, freeview TV and free wifi, with a good shower (not a bath). Julie was very friendly and welcoming, which makes a huge difference. Breakfast was served at 9am each day (no choice on the time), and was quite a good cooked breakfast, with some choice of cereal.
As for the location, we got the train to Newuqay, and the B&B is about a 10-15 minute walk from the station, heading out of town. This meant that it was a bit of a walk into town each day, but that wasn't a bad thing, as it was a pleasant walk. Also, I was with my girlfriend so it was nice to be slightly set away from the busy main street of pubs and bars which get really busy at night. Due to the location it probably wouldn't suit surfers, as it's a long walk to the main surfing beach. However, if you are looking for quieter beaches, with nice bars and restaurants nearby, then it's in a really good location, with two or three good beaches and bars nearby.
Tip - keep an eye on the B&B's website, as it sometimes has offers on the room prices, which can be a lot cheaper than B&Bs in the centre of town.
