Description: Lusty Glaze Tripadvisor Beautiful brunches, leisurely lunches, cosy coffees and seaside suppers... Lusty Glaze Beach Restaurant is nestled just a short walk from the centre of Newquay, on the North Cornish coast. Come rain or shine Lusty Glaze serves up freshly cooked and locally-sourced culinary delights in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. With a beautiful menu specially created for each season, as well as some rather tasty specials and the ever popular Hot Rocks, this beachfront dinning experience is not to be missed. On a warm evening, it's easy to forget you're still in Cornwall! As well as hosting weddings and our legendary Headliner Sessions, we also hold a free live music evenings featuring some of our favourite local artists. Spanning a range of different genres, these nights are always special, as everyone relaxes and unwinds, glass of wine in hand, soaking up the atmosphere. And even with a focus on top-notch food, it is still very likely that your chairs won't match, your spoon and fork may be different patterns and your waiter will be wearing flip flops... after all, we are still the laid back family-friendly restaurant that we always have been!

“Perfect location.”
Reviewed June 23, 2014

Had dinner with some friends whilst on a break in Cornwall recently and decided to go to Lusty glaze for dinner. Firstly the location couldn't really be any better, the sun was setting as we were eating and it was absolutely incredible. The food was delicious and had some lovely drinks on offer, we were a table of 5 with drinks, mains and deserts and the bill was very reasonable. It really is the most perfect location and a lovely place to eat. Thanks!

“Really friendly and amazing setting”
Reviewed June 22, 2014

Went here on recommendation from a friend. My 2 daughters and I sat inside looking out to the sea to have a drink. It was so chilled, and such a beautiful setting that we decided to book a table for the next night as it was our last night on holiday. WOW what a way to round off our stay in Newquay!! Even although we had booked a table, the Manageress said that we could have a table at the front if we preferred. Best decision as we watched the amazing sunset while having our meal. There was a live band on while we were there which were very good. The service from staff was amazing and were super friendly. Even although there was a large birthday party going on, we didn't have to wait too long on our food. The food itself was brilliant, I had swordfish on a hot stone which was lovely, even my very fussy teenager liked her piri piri chicken!! We had chocolate fudge brownie and ice cream to share which we worked off climbing the stairs to get back up to the top. I would highly reccomend this place if you are ever in Newquay.

“Gorgeous setting and great food”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

Me and my partner had a meal here on Saturday night and was amazing. The setting and location are fab. Lots of steps down to the restaurant but its def worth it. We had hot stone to cook our own food and it was amazing. So different to any other restaurant I have been to before. We was lucky to watch a gorgeous sunset and go on the beach aswell. Staff was nice and friendly. There was a wedding going on aswell but it didn't cause any trouble and we was singing along to there music aswell. As the evening went on it did get a little chilly but a member of staff bought over a heater for us which was amazing. Best night and cant wait to visit again.

“Awesome”
Reviewed June 7, 2014

Love this place went for a meal as part of our hen weekend. Totally impressed with the food, ambience, location and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a little disorganised at first with getting food no condiments or cutlery or drinks but things speeded up and we had a great evening.
What made this extra special was the excellent live singer for the wedding on the lower part of the restaurant. It was great fun and laid back. Fabulous value for money as we did the beach BBQ, although indoors due to the weather this did not spoil things.
