After a few drinks on fistral beach we headed to the Fistral Chef for a late evening meal - they generally stay open until late, even the kitchen! A great waitress looked after us-we ordered at the bar and food arrived 15mins later. Good sized portions, amazing chips (!) and all reasonably priced. No beer on tap, but plenty of variety for wine & bottles.
Worth also noting they have a different evening menu to breakfast & lunch, all 3 looked great though.

Thank Chris J

Love this chill out place. They even do special requests! The no1 cooked breakfast was brilliant as it cured our hangover. Really nice staff.

Stopped for lunch. Hand made burger was very good and kids eat free which is always a bonus. Friendly staff - beware the seagulls

We have eaten at the Fistral Chef for breakfast on several occasions over the last few years. The standard of the breakfasts has always been great, tho the sausages we had during our last visit were definitely better quality, we ate there on three occasions last week - largely due to the weather being good and being able to sit outside as we have two dogs. We have always been made to feel welcome and water is provided for the dogs. If you're visiting Newquay I would highly recommend a visit or two!

PS When the waitress knew it was our last breakfast before a five hour journey home she very kindly provided us with a cake each for the journey.
