Description: There is nothing quite so British as a mini-break to the Cornish coastline, and Beaucliffes is a stellar restaurant in Porth tucked away inside the Porth Veor Manor Hotel that is ideal for romantic mini-break meals for two. With coastal views and a superb modern dining room this restaurant has oodles of nostlagic charm without the decaying decor, and is popular with both daytrippers and locals. Beaucliffe's locally sourced, seasonally changing menu offers a variety of British classics with a noughties twist, and signature dishes include the medallions of Westcountry pork tenderloin with a red cabbage, garlic and lime coleslaw and mustard dressing, and the seared Cornish beef with colcannon mash and Guinness gravy.

We came here with a half price deal from our apartments, therefore it was very good value for the quality of food. The waiter was attentive without being imposing. I'm not much of a puddings person but my white chocolate and rasberry pudding was beautiful mmm.

We ate early so it was extremely quiet and unfortuantely dark so can't comment on the food or atmosphere.

Came to beaucliffes as part of a deal from travelzoo combined with a stay at bay resort st merryn. We were a little nervous about it in all honesty, thinking that an establishment that needed to attract custom in that way might be a little, shall we say, below par, but the menu was tempting and varied, atmosphere pleasant, service friendly and attentive and food very good indeed. Fish dishes were particular highlight. Mind the supplements, they can add up if you're not careful. Would recommend.

Four of us on a weekend break at the Beachcombers Apts in Watergate Bay & our 3 night break included a fine dining 3-Course Meal in Beaucliffes Restaurant which is in the Porth Veor Manor Hotel.
Beautiful restaurant with gorgeous views, the staff were ALL very friendly & attentive which made the evening even more special. The food 'have to mention the fillet steaks' were gorgeous.
Would highly recommend, one of the nicest meals we've had in a restaurant for years, will definitely go back.

Our 3rd visit to this great restaurant during annual visits to the area, Service was as friendly as ever (although a bit slow this time; understaffed?) however the table, view and food was very good, and the atmosphere delightful. This place is an island of good taste and well worth a visit.

Overall, the restaurant offers very average food and tries to put a fine dining spin on it which doesn't work. The sauce for my fillet if beef was oily and tasted like from a packet and the prawns on the plate had a distinct old and fishy smell to them and were overbooked. Not a great meal.
