The welcome we received by Ron and Carol, the proprieters of the Hepworth Hotel, was extremely warm and friendly. Considering it had been a long and tiring drive, we were immediately made to feel at home. Rather than being hotel guests, we were treated more like friends who haven't seen each other in quite a while. The accommodation was clean and most comfortable and the legendary 'Big Ron's Breakfast', did not dissappoint. The hotel itself is ideally located, close to the centre of Newquay. There is a bar and a comfortable sitting area for you to put your feet up, relax and watch a video if you so choose. We will definately be paying another visit to this hotel in the future, if only to see if I can finish that breakfast!!!

Carol & Ron, the perfect hosts, wonderfully clean, comfortable, hospitable, felt like we were staying with family ourselves. We stayed in August. My daughter & I felt like we'd known them a long long time. Nothing was too much trouble. Amazing & Mouth-watering breakfast. We'll definitely be going back 100%. We definitely feel part of the Hepworth Hotel family now.

Room Tip: Whatever room you get, it will be perfect, just like the hosts!

Really enjoyed our long weekend here. Location is perfect, just a short 2-3 minute walk to town, but still off the main street/noise. Our rooom was very clean and spacious. The free breakfasts were especially a-m-a-z-i-n-g, though you do have to get up early for them (it's a family run business so understandable).

Highly recommended and wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else..

Room Tip: They have different rooms so ask when you contact them, we were in basic and was perfect for us...

I went on a surfing weekend back in September but forgot to review.
This is perfect location if you would rather see the nice, quiet side of newquay rather than the teenage drinking side! Carol and Ron are the loveliest people and make you feel so welcome. They are in the process of doing up all the rooms and there was a very swanky looking all-singing-all-dancing shower/spa/steam thing going into one room and a gorgeous bath going into another.
The breakfasts were better than you will find in most 5* hotels and the cakes and biscuits were irresistible. Rooms are very tasteful and have all you could ever want.
Thank you for a lovely stay!

Had a great week in celebration of my 40th birthday with my Partner. Ron & Carol made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and are committed to ensuring you enjoy your stay at their Guest House. They were also very informative and have a good knowledge of the local area. Our room was very comfortable, clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and the living room has a fantastic cinema screen with surround sound. We are very much hoping to have another week there next year, keep the good work guys! Chris & Simon xx

We went to Cornwall for the first time and sure chose the best place to stay. Ron and Carol are so nice and friendly that you don't feel like staying at a new place at all. Both of them are very helpful and they make sure that even in their busy times they take out sufficient time to chat to their guests and make good suggestions for places to visit, eat, shop, etc. The room was very clean, cosy, comfortable and well-equipped. The food quality, choice and service was excellent. It was very interesting to see how committed they are to make their place one of the best places to stay. We had a lovely time at their place and would surely recommend to anyone visiting Newquay. Thankyou both and hope to visit you guys again - A Sharma.
