Description: Nestled above the cliffs of Pentire Headland, looking out across the mighty Atlantic, The Lewinnick Lodge has probably one of the best coastal views anywhere in the county. Serving modern British food with an emphasis on fresh fish, the Lodge has long been established as the premier location to enjoy fine Cornish fare and hospitality. 'The Lodge' is open for breakfast from 8am and serves food throughout the day until 10pm (10.30Pm in the summer), everyday of the year. You can choose to dine in our restaurant, bar, beer garden or on the sun terrace - wherever the mood or occasion takes you! We offer modern British and world cuisine using the best local produce. Our ethos is simple, fresh seasonal produce, prepared on the premises by a team of talented chefs. We aim to cater for all tastes on our regular menus but if you are a lover of fresh fish and seafood then our twice daily changing specials will have you coming back time and again. We now also offer 10 stunning boutique style bedrooms so you never have to leave!

“What a find!!!”
Reviewed August 31, 2014 via mobile

After dropping the children of in chaotic Newquay we stopped of for a stroll and my did we get lucky! This place is stunning even on a blustery day the views were outstanding and we took a risk to dine outside. Food was delivered promptly and we were pleased with both the quality and range! We shared the deli platter and the variety was impressive. Do yourself a favour drive straight passed Newquay and stop at this gem.

“Good food in a spectacular setting”
Reviewed August 31, 2014

The Lewinnick Lodge has a fantastic setting, perched on the north edge of the Pentire Headland overlooking cliffs, crashing waves and Fistral Beach in the distance. Huge windows make the most of this. It is clearly very popular and you will need to book (we only managed to get in late on a Sunday). The food is very good: we had goat's cheese salad, mussels, salt & pepper squid, and whole roasted plaice. Recommended.

“A real gem.”
Reviewed August 31, 2014

We discovered Lewinnick Lodge entirely by accident during a stay in Crantock. It's the perfect place to relax, the view is fantastic and the staff friendly and attentive, finding time to interact and converse with customers whilst working a busy bar and still managing to serve people quickly and efficiently is not easy. The indoor bar area is cleverly arranged around the central bar to allow almost every seat in the place to enjoy the view out of the huge windows.

The terrace (or the large outdoor seating area below) can be the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a cigar with your drinks, on all but the busiest days there's space to ensure you're not blowing smoke in peoples faces.

Will definitely be visiting whenever I'm in the area and will be certain to eat here if I get the chance.

“Thoroughly Enjoyed!”
Reviewed August 29, 2014 via mobile

Saw Lewinnick Lodge whilst walking the day before and stopped for a coffee on the terrace - fab unbeatable views of Newquay and the coastline. Food being served looked really nice so we called back today for lunch, we were not disappointed. We were offered the choice of the bar or restaurant area (menus are the same), the staff accommodated us with a choice of table with sea views. Very pleasant service throughout with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Table water was offered as we sat down and drinks were served within 5 mins. The food was fresh and very tasty, the crispy chilli beef starter was gorgeous. We followed this with the sun dried tomato linguini, the Lewinnick fish cakes and King Prawn linguini - all excellent, flavoursome and well presented. The time between courses was approx 20 mins but if you want fast food go to an outlet! Although the desserts looked fab we settled for coffee, again very good with shortbread - nice touch. For the three of us the bill was £55 (inc drinks), we think it was value for money for a thoroughly enjoyable meal in an unbeatable location.
