We stayed at hendra for 4 nights on pine, non electric pitch.
From start to finish everything was great. We arrived an hour early but were able to go straight to our pitch and set up.
We were very near reception, swimming pool etc which was great for us as our 11 and 14 year old could go and do their own thing.
We purchased the swimming passes when we booked which worked out to be about £2.50 per visit. As we went out most days the girls didn't get to the pool until after 3 each time so we're able to stay as long as they wanted which was great. They loved the flames and the changing rooms were clean.
We didn't use the outdoor pool much as just didn't have time. The shower blocks were cleaned well and the general site was very well kept.
We found the shop a little expensive but to be expected on site.
Fish and chips and pizza both good and not badly priced.
The entertainment in the evenings was very busy but not something we were interested in with older kids, anyway.
The whole family enjoyed our stay and all agree it's the best site we have stayed at.More
