“Over priced”
Reviewed April 22, 2010

I was really looking forward to taking my 2 year old to DairyLand Farm World especially after reading on an advert that they had won awards for "Best Farm Attraction in Cornwall" only to feel total disapointment for what they had to offer for the price. When we arrived we noticed that the awards were actually for 2003/04. I think since then the farm must have become very tired looking. I hate to be negative but felt very cross after this experience.

“one of the better farm attractions”
Reviewed April 18, 2010

Dairyland does what it says on the tin, there are lots of probably best for young children, (up to about 8). There are several interactive activities during the day including bottle feeding the small animals, petting rabits. The free indoor play area is a good size and has lots of areas for children to explore and large slides which my children loved. Pony rides can get busy, but (unlike some other places) only cost an additional £1. It should keep you busy for 3-4 hours.

“Expensive if you are over 3ft tall!”
Reviewed August 24, 2009

While children under a certain age can get into most attractions in Cornwall for free, at Dairyland they go by height, so my two year old nephew (who is quite tall) was charged the full adult price for entry, making it nearly £32 for three adults and one toddler, which kind of ruined the day before it got started. It didn't help when we went to get an ice cream and although we only wanted a tiny bit for the toddler, we were going to be charged full price. Instead we simply asked for a spare cone so we could put a little bit of our ice cream on it, they charged us 20p for that! Sadly, these two experiences soured the whole day out and although the animals are cute, it was difficult for a small toddler to pet/see them in some instances.

“Overrated, Rude Staff”
Reviewed July 1, 2009

I went with my husband and 2.5yr old twins. Because our daughter was an inch taller than her brother, we had to pay her admission therefore costing just over £23. The admission staff were rude, as were the staff for the Pony Rides. Overall, I think the place is overrated. it is not somewhere we will be going back to.
