“Go for the day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013 via mobile

A visit that kept our 4yr old visitor occupied all afternoon with a different activity every 30 mins. Go at the start of the week and you can visit for free all week.

“Excellent soft play centre!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

Lots of animals and educational info (although the Spanish omlette recipe on the wall in the chick nursery was a bit weird, haha). My daughter got to pet various fluffly small animals and feed some bigger ones. There was a great playground and some fun tiny ride, but the indoor play centre was absolute tops, best we've been to. You can also use your ticket for re-admittance for a several days, so I imagine this would be great if you are travelling with kids and the weather is poor. The weather was great for our visit, but we still enjoyed it.

“Good and bad bits”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

Took my 18 month old to play in the indoor play area, lovely he had so much fun, however some other visitors came and took over the whole toddler area, these kids must of been 10/11 !! Would think the staff would ask them to go play in the other area, (which is much larger and quite empty) there is only a small area for toddlers and seemed unfair that the big kids throwing balls at each other stayed where we were!!! I understand they were having fun but what little space they make toddler safe should be kept for toddlers, or even big kids playing with toddlers.

“Too artificial.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2013

We took our grandsons for the day expecting to be visiting a real working farm. After wandering around for a while the most we spotted were a few large plastic cows and a couple of people dressed up as cows. Eventually we found our way to the animals which were very few. Pets corner was disappointing , a rat, a rabbit and 2 guinea pigs for the children to stroke, they all looked pretty bored. The highlight was finding the barns housing the history of the farm and its tools and the local area. Also seeing the cows being milked was quite interesting. If you want somewhere for the children to play then this is an expensive option. We had a child with a sprained foot so he couldn't participate in anything really. We didn't bother with the free 7 day pass.

“Day out with the kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2013

We took are now 11yr old here in 2006 and returned this June with him and are 4yr old daughter for the day. Price was ok and got a 7day free return pass. Was lovely and sunny so spent the whole day playing and my daughter loved it and so did my son even thou he was 11 but might be a bit to old next time!!! We went when most schools gone back so was quite think might be busy in holidays. I would say the food might have been a bit better for a farm café. All round a good day with nice memories.
