This was our holiday treat, we did get something special. Waiting staff very professional helpful and attentive. The food was delicate, tasteful and different ,
One word of warning though the atmosphere at lunch was a little like a kinder garden.

Fifteen at lunch time is so affordable it almost makes eating anywhere else a nonsense decision. We paid £30 per person for 3 courses, wine, fizz and a cocktail. Considering the standard of food on offer this is an absolute bargain.

The food was of a high standard although not quite gourmet. The wine selection was as affordable as the food and the cocktails were first rate with our cocktail waiter Josh serving up stories and insights to match the flavours being delivered.

In the height of summer the windows across the panoramic view to the sea and beach all fold back for an indoor-outdoor connectedness rarely on offer.

I was also informed when we were paying up that the hotel beside the restaurant offers discounted dinners in the off season when you book for 3 nights or more - a nice combo I'd be interested in, even more so given the discount.

I look forward to coming back and experience the next edible ensemble.

Vastly improved breakfast. No longer as pretentious over the ingredients. Amazing what swapping a tomato for spicy canelloni beans does to a fried breakfast. The beans were historically good and made the plate. Still seventy five pounds to feed 2 adults and four children but this time I felt that we had value. Staff were lovely, nice to see some local people working there rather than the usual foreign student legion that normally dominates the restaurant. The coffee is poor when ordered as a cafetiere much better by the cup. If you want a strong coffee in the morning do not order the cafetiere.

The food was pretty, but the flavours did not work. The amount of hazzlenut oil used in one dish completly blocked the flavour of the lobster, what a waste! Having been to Jamie's Italian, I was also surpirsed to see an extra £10 per bottle on the same wines. We also felt like they were trying to rush us out - not even finishing the first olive before starters were being put down and the olives wisked away. Amazing setting though

Was recommended 15 for breakfast by a work colleague and am so glad I booked up. Our family of 4 had a great view of Watergate Bay from our window-side table whilst eating a pretty fine breakfast. Unhurried, but attentive service completed the early morning visit.
If you're not up for the full English, try the eggy bread with maple syrup and pancetta.
One note - the beans are a bit spicy. Fine for us, but just be aware.
