We had visited Fifteen last June and had a superb meal. This year's visit was nowhere near as good. I have no problem with paying for high end food and service but object to paying top prices for a pretty ordinary meal. We had the tasting menu for 4 people and pretty well sampled everything the menu had to offer, I think the nettle gnocchi and the puddings were the best, the vegetarian pancakes were really stogy and the beef fillet although beautifully tender was overpowered by the other herby flavours in the dish. The service was OK, but I wouldn't bother again - instead I would head for The Seafood Restaurant or Nathan Outlaw for a much better Cornish Foodie experience at similar cost.

The location is fantastic, easy to access. The food was of a good standard. The service was extremely slow through the whole experience.
I enjoy high end food and have no problem paying a premium. However I could not justify the prices in my opinion overpriced due to having a celeb name attached... this is Cornwall not London!

We were given a table by the window so we overlooked the beach and the sea.
We had the taster menu in the evening. The menu was based on Sicilian food. Our waitress explained the choices for every course to us. We found this really helpful when making our choices.
All the courses, about seven, counting the breads with olive oil & delicious chopped black olives & capers spread and enormous green Sicilian olives and the coffee afterwards, were very tasty and complemented each other. The wines were lovely too.
It was a superb evening.

This restaurant is advertised as being Jamie Oliver inspired. As a Jamie Oliver fan I am sure that he would be extremely dissappointed if he had to eat the food that is served up in this establishment. The chef who is responsible for preparing the menu's is in need of some serious instruction. Excellent locally caught fish, well prepared, but totally overpowered by the accompanying vegetables. Scallops served like pieces of rubber on lentils. Tortellini served with duck filling where the pasta is like cardboard.
The customers surrounding our table were all of the same opinion and said that they would not be returning. I feel very sorry for the serving staff as they have the customer relationship job which must be very difficult for them.
The winelist is also a lesson in profiteering. If you are prepared to spend £102 per head for their tasting menu with a tasting measure of wine with each of the 5 courses
then try another restaurant. There are some vastly superior establishments in the area who will serve you memorable food at half the price.
