“Great Little Cafe”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

First I must let readers know that the photo at the top of this page is incorrect it is of 2 Fore Street (another restaurant in Mousehole) and not of Pam's Pantry.
Now onto the review - there are a few eateries on Mousehole but its worth hunting out Pam's which is just off the harbour in Mill Lane (follow the road around the side of the pub keeping the harbour on your left, the road bears right and the cafe is just up the hill on the left next to an art gallery). This café is not "trendy" so if that's your thing look elsewhere but what you get here is reasonably priced, good quality English food with friendly staff. We have eaten here numerous times the last one being 8 March 2013. We had toasted cheese and tomato sandwiches with a lovely side salad which included a variety of different lettuce leaves. Salad was extremely fresh. With a pot of tea for two the bill came to approx. £13. Excellent value.

“Hoped for better...”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

Not the experience we'd hoped for. Turned up towards the end of the day but a lot of food on the menu was unavailable. Service was unenthusiastic, as if the customers were hassle. Food was okay but lacking the imagination you would expect in such a lovely little harbour village. Maybe lack of competition leads to complacency?

“Fantastic- well worth a visit!”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

We ate here twice during our weeks stay. Excellent cooked breakfast- good portions and value for money.

The service was very good, our waitress was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is welcoming. Very clean in a traditional style cafe. Food cooked to order and was delicious!

Lovely location, just off the harbour and next to a gallery and boutique style shop.
If you plan to go to Mousehole, stop here for breakfast/brunch/lunch/afternoon tea!
