We arrived really early for our table but the waitress was able to seat us as our table was unoccupied. We really like the atmosphere and service in the Cornish Range. Out orders were taken promptly despite our early arrival. I had the crab bisque followed by monk cheeks and gunnard. My wife had goats cheese and avocado salad, followed cod. We both really enjoyed our meals nad would recoomend a visit if you are a lover of sea food. We also find time to chat to an Aussie couple who were on the table next to us, and then a German couple who replaced them. We were not hassled to settle the bill as we chatted for some time with the German holiday makers.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. We went as a big group with young children felt very welcome and the food was excellent. All the food that came out was fresh and tasted fantastic. We drove an hour to go to this restaurant and it was most certainly worth it.

On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant waitress. Our drinks order was taken promptly and the wine whilst a little expensive was excellent (Flying Kiwi). On taking our order the waitress informed us that our meal may take a while as there was a large group being served and provided us with free bread and olives. In the event our starters arrived within 10 minutes and were delicious. Three of our party had seafood risotto for main course and all thought it was the best they had experienced outside of Italy. The service from a young waiter and waitress was superb and every member of our party said they would visit agai and make strong recommendations to friends and family to visit if in the area.

Have been here several times before in previous years but tonight was a real disappointment. Some food was good-would recommend the mussels and roasted cod-but some very average and overpriced. Potatoes were burnt but mentioned this and didn't have any response. Service was brusque and not friendly as before. Meal felt very rushed. Overall very disappointed and sadly won't be going again.

If you are going to Mousehole and you have the opportunity to eat here then definitely do so! The food here is absolutely superb! The menu is awash with a wide range of choices and the specials board throws up some unbelievable choices. I've been to Mousehole 8 or 9 times and always ensure I have a meal here! You will not be disappointed!!
