First time at this restaurant, looked good online and we were not disappointed. Nestled in the old quayside this is a delightful gem, beautifully decorated and cosy with bags of atmosphere. The waiting staff were a young team but courteous and efficient.
We opted for two glasses of prosecco to start - served in chilled flutes with a raspberry in each glass. Yummy.
We had the seafood chowder and the tempura prawns for starters. Both beautiful and just sufficient to whet our appetites.
Mains were the seafood tagliatelle (stuffed with seafood) and the smoked haddock on mash with green beans. Both plates divinely flavoured and generous portions, which sadly meant no room for dessert.
We were so taken with this restaurant we booked again for our next special occasion on the way out. Highly recommended.
