This is a small hotel located just outside Looe with stunning views of the local countryside. We stayed in one of the garden cottages, one minutes walk from the main building. The room was spacious, very clean and very well appointed with a balcony looking out over the grounds. Hazel, the owner was friendly and welcoming and very helpful during our stay. Breakfast was outstanding, a nice range of foods, English breakfast was cooked to perfection and the sausage was the best yet. Unlike some of the accommodation in this area parking was abundant.
The best compliment I can pay is that we will certainly return here when we visit the West Country again.

Room Tip: I wouldn't think there is a bad room

We last visited this hotel in 2014 but, on arrival, we were treated like long lost friends. Hazel, as always, was a superb hostess and Ross's cooking gets even better. We were there for seven days. There is plenty to do or you can just chill out and relax. This is the only hotel we have returned to and this was our fourth visit. I think this shows how good the accommodation and food is. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: All rooms are good but, for the best rooms, it helps if you stay for a week or so

My husband, toddler & I have just returned from a 7 night stay at the Trelaske Hotel & what a wonderful experience it was. Hazel & Ross were the most amazing hosts, having our toddler with us made it difficult to go out of an evening & we had heard such fantastic things about the food at the hotel when we mentioned this to Hazel she made sure we could eat in the restaurant. We were not disappointed!! Ross is a fantastic chef and the food was some of the best we have ever eaten made with vegetables grown in their own poly tunnel & fish they had caught in Looe on the day. Our room was spacious & clean & we had fresh towels every day. We also had amazing countryside views through the french doors leading out onto the terrace. Our toddler particularly loved running around the beautifully kept large gardens & meeting Ruby the dog. The hotel is also in a great location for visiting all the great places in the area & Hazel was so helpful in advising the best restaurants, sights, places to park etc. We will definitely be returning next year. Thanks again Hazel & Ross for a lovely peaceful stay x

A rare 5 stars from me but very well deserved!

Came here for a quiet weekend away to celebrate our wedding anniversary and was absolutely bowled over, a real treat!

The hotel is set off the road past a caravan park but we were not disturbed by it, it isn't very big, I think 7 rooms so make sure you book early! Our room overlooked the countryside and we had a balcony, which if the weather had been better would have been delightful. The decor is pleasant and the room comfortable.

The hotel is run by Hazel and Ross and they both work very hard to make their guests stay a memorable one! Hazel runs front of house and Ross is the chef and they both excel at what they do.
The welcome and attention to detail from Hazel was wonderful and the food was superb, every meal an absolute delight!

There are local walks down to Looe and around the area and they also have a couple of dog friendly rooms. As I said in the title, book direct with Hazel to get the best rates.

I absolutely would recommend and look forward to coming again!
