“Good coffee”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013 via mobile

We stopped here for a warm up and coffee on a really cold day. The staff were efficient and friendly, welcoming our party of eight including two young children. The coffee was also super! It was a real shame that it was so quiet!

“Delicious Bruschetta”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

I was slightly surprised to find only two tables occupied on a Saturday evening during the Easter holidays. If we hadn't booked I would probably have walked on to the excellent Squid Ink around the corner but we had booked so in our party of five went. The cocktails were great, I was asked how dry I would like my Martini and they got it spot on. The tapas varied from the superb brushetta with Cornish blue, Honey and Walnuts through delicious crab and trout dumplings down to the mushrooms in a sherry cream sauce which sadly didn't work, at least for my palate. Between the five of us we ordered a selection of tapas but deliberately left room to go back to order more of what we each enjoyed. We finished with a sharing plate of churros which were an exceedingly moreish way to end the meal.
Service was excellent and not overbearing as experienced by other reviewers. The food element of the meal came to about £20 a head.

“Great for either a drink or a meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2013 via mobile

We visited Zute twice this Easter, once for a coffee, and having found the staff very welcoming we returned for a meal later the same week, and again an excellent meal and great service was provided. We look forward to using them again them next time we book a holiday in Looe

“Nice pizza, a little overbearing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2013

We booked in advance as we thought it would be busy on the Easter bank holiday. However we were one of only 3 couples in there! I think because of this, the service was a little too speedy and we were checked up on a few too many times - we didn't feel we had much of a chance to savour the experience. However, the pizza was really yummy, especially the Chicken Tandoori one. The churros were a real treat as well. It was an unseasonably cold night and they had a couple of small heaters but it was a bit too cold in there for my liking! Thanks for a tasty meal, though.
