What a great place to stay!!! Rosie & David just don't do second best. Everything is to the highest possible standard. On arrival we were welcomed with tea & coffee served with Christmas cake. Our rooms were perfectly decorated and immaculately presented with the most comfortable of beds. The bathroom was similarly well equipped and the breakfast was great. It was also nice to have fresh milk for the hospitality tray and the use of a fridge. We will return!

Room Tip: We used two rooms and they were both great.

What a find! A quick trawl of the internet while looking for somewhere in Cornwall to spend a romantic long weekend threw up this little gem. This place is a.m.a.z.i.n.g! The quality of the furnishings (sumptuous deep pile carpets, soft luxurious armchairs, HUGE uber-comfy bed), the fantastic facilities (fresh milk for tea and coffee, not UHT, an easy-going come and go as you please policy, fab modern power shower and luxurious toiletries), the generous, freshly cooked breakfast, Freeview TV) and the warmth of the welcome and 'customer service' given by Rosie and David, all equal that of any top-end hotels I've stayed in. This is no ordinary B&B so expect a slightly higher price than a standard guesthouse charges, but it is SO worth it! I can't praise this place highly enough. Nothing, literally NOTHING, we asked was too much trouble for Rosie and David. They are keen that you should enjoy Cornwall as well as feeling both pampered and utterly at home, so they are full of advice, help and anecdotes but will be discreet if there is even a suggestion that you'd rather just get on with it yourself! We absolutely LOVED staying here. Can't fault a single thing - in fact we can't wait to go back in the Summer and celebrate another anniversary there next Winter, too!

Room Tip: All rooms are furnished to an equally high standard, I think all rooms look directly out to sea. The only difference is room size but even our 'smaller' room had a king-size bed, ample room to move around and store stuff, so choose at will!

Having stayed for two nights last year, we were pleased to be able to stay for four this year and were very glad we did. Return visits to somewhere we really liked have sometimes turned out to be a bit of a disappointment but certainly not in the case of Beach House.

Rosie and David were again very welcoming hosts from the complimentary and excellent cream tea on arrival until the moment we left. This time we stayed in Fistral bedroom on the first floor with even more splendid sea views than the ground floor room we had before. The room was spotlessly clean, well provided and furnished with our only disappointment the weather which wasn't quite good enough for us to make use of the balcony. As we have said before, we stayed several times many years ago at the Beach House (when it was known as Green Oaks) but it has been transformed and is an excellent example of how an older property can be modernised into a light, modern building with excellent facilities and all mod cons.

The breakfasts were superb too and we are already looking forward to going back before too long.

Very pleased to have found the Beach House after many years of visiting Looe. From the moment you enter the room you can see from the crisp white linen the quality of the establishment. Superb breaskfast with quality food freshly cooked. We will return.

The views over Looe harbour were the biggest draw for us. The Beach House is situated in West Looe, away from all the hustle and bustle of East Looe. It also has its own parking, which is a bonus. Breakfast is served on the first floor overlooking the harbour, and even on a gloomy day the view is spectacular. The Breakfast Trifle has to be tried, it’s gorgeous. As commented by others, the night before you have to write down your breakfast choices, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Rosie and David were very attentive, and we couldn’t fault the breakfasts or the cleanliness of the establishment. My only negatives would be that they’re a little pricey, and our room was a little on the small side.
