a beautiful view of the sea greeted us when we opened the curtains of our very spacious hotel room with balcony. nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were all consistently kind and helpful. Although the hotel décor in places seems tired and could do with up dating, this was more than made up for by the delicious food and value for money. the dinner, room and breakfast tariff was a bargain!

Room Tip: ask for a seaview room

Many thanks for taking the time to leave such great feedback about the hotel and it was a pleasure to read you had enjoyed your stay.

We are in the early planning stages for updating the rooms and this should start into the New Year.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family whilst in Looe for the day. We had 2 courses with a choice of carvery (Beef was beautiful) and dessert. But could have 1/2 or 3 courses for set price.
Food was tasty, hot and plenty of it. The view is to die for - the sun was shining and the tables are all up against the window so everyone has a sea view - AMAZING. Would definitely recommend for Sunday lunch.

Went at end of May - really good stay with excellant buffet style breakfasts. Enjoyed the sea view - for extra few pounds - well worth it with a balcony. Staff very helpful and courtious. Didn't use the car for the whole duration - fabulous walks - lovely town.

Room Tip: Get room with view of sea!

We checked in early, with no questions asked, which was appreciated as it was the only wet day during our time in Looe. The Hannafore Point Hotel used to be THE hotel in Looe to stay at, some relatives have said, but I think it is showing it's age, and I think faded glory perhaps describes it best now, The staff are all very pleasant and helpful, though, and it's comfortable enough. Breakfast too is pretty good, largely buffet style, although there are some extras on a menu. Dinner is also served, and bar meals too. The restaurant has great views too, as do the sea view rooms, although this is slightly marred by the windows being dirty, they could definitely do with a clean. The real disappointment, though is the pool/health club area. This was built in the 1990s, I think, but it isn't one of the best, the pool was actually warmer than the jacuzzi, and the steam room/sauna are upstairs, and have to be turned on before you use them.

Room Tip: Choose a sea view room, or better still, one with a balcony, as you can then appreciate the view ful...

As the title says we were not residents here but used the Bar on several occasions for lunch, excellent club sandwich , good salads and a wide choice on the menu.

I must also mention the very kind service by the staff, especially the ladies and the moroccan bar manager who was very attentive.

In addition the views from the bar are nothing short of spectacular. We also took my father to the main restaurant for his birthday and had a very good meal.

We will be returning here at the beginning of next year!

We have recently returned from a wonderful stay at this hotel. Make sure you try to get a seaview room as the views are wonderful. We found the staff very pleasant, good food and a lovely atmosphere. Some decoration and updating would turn this 'very good' hotel into an excellent on
