“Best B&B we've ever stayed in!”
Reviewed September 14, 2012 via mobile

We stayed at Cherrywood lodge on 17th August for 7 nights, Annie and Ralph are superb hosts, nothing was too much trouble. both the rooms and the breakfast were lovely and was extremely close to East Looe Harbour, plenty of space to park your car at the B&B too.
We tried to book some extra nights but unfortunately Cherrywood Lodge was already booked, so we had to return home.
Would not hesitate to recommend Cherrywood Lodge to anyone and would definitely rebook and return.
Thanks again Annie & Ralph for a superb holiday made even more plesent by your superb surroundings.

This B&B was lovely. The place was beautifully decorated with a high quality feel. It was well equipped, we even were given our own bath robes and slippers! The owners were really friendly, and nothing was too much trouble, even getting in gluten free bread for my mum at breakfast. I really couldn't recommend this place highly enough, we were really impressed.

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from a week long stay at Cherrywood Lodge and all I can say is What an amazing place! Annie and Ralph were great hosts, as a lot of previous reviews state, nothing was too much trouble for them and the towel animals made my day! Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and yummy homemade bread. Our room was beautiful and spotless, really luxurious. Location wise you couldn't ask for more, a five minute walk into the town and beach. We would not hesitate to book here again when we next return to looe. Ralph and Annie are doing an amazing job!

The owners of Cherrywood Lodge - Annie & Ralph - have clearly put a lot of time and effort into creating a top quality bed and breakfast. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds, lots of thick towels, robes and slippers. A travel cot, extra duvet and a baby bath were provided for our stay as we had phoned ahead to tell them that we would be travelling with our 11 month old daughter. Breakfast was lovely - homemade bread, choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurts and a cooked breakfast tailored to your liking. Nothing is too much trouble! It is a steep but short 3min walk up from town but this is an issue everywhere in Looe. All in all a very pleasant stay.

What a fantastic place! Together with our friends Terry & Sue, we stayed for two nights. Annie and Ralph were excellent hosts. The rooms were amazing and breakfast was delicous. The town was only 2 minutes down the hill where we found excellent restaraunts to eat at night. We would highly recommend Cherrywood Lodge

Room Tip: We had the turquoise room and our friends had the black and white room, both were excellent

We booked two rooms for two couples for a weekend break in close proximity to some places we wanted to visit (Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Polperro etc.). We did experience a problem in finding Cherrywood Lodge (a combination of approaching from the wrong direction -- it's easier from East Looe -- and us being daft!) but the welcome we received from Anne and Ralph more than made up for it.
We couldn't believe we were in a seaside B&B as the rooms were amazing, beautifully coordinated, and with lovely toiletries, comfy beds and fluffy towels.
The breakfast room was a pleasure to eat breakfast in and matched the delicious breakfast that was extremely well served.
I could not recommend Ralph and Anne's guest house more and once the hump in the car park is sorted there are no negatives as far as we are concerned.

We booked to stay here for one night to beak up the journey down to falmouth and we've very glad we did. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to a lovely room. The decor was stylish and the room was large with a spacious bathroom. I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant and have been struggling to get comfortable at night but the comfortable bed, pillows and duvet meant I slept right through for the first time in months!!! Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection and amazing home made bread. I would highly recommend a short or longer term stay.
