Myself and my wife came across this restaurant quite by chance as we wandered around Looe - one look at the menu was enough to convince us to give it a go. By chance we were visiting Looe at the same time as the Looe Music festival so were lucky enough to be able to phone up and book a table at very short notice as most people had no interest in eating food (no matter how good it is) when they have the chance of watching The Darkness & Chas and Dave to name but two. On arriving at the restaurant we found that we were sharing it with only one other couple and can only agree with other reviewers that it had a cosy feel with a very warm welcome from the owners. Menu was fantastic, and we were given as much time as we needed to choose our food. Both our meals were well presented and perfectly cooked, neither the tenderloin pork nor the steak could be faulted and the owners were even kind enough to put the rest of my wife's pork in a 'take out' bag when she told them that she was 'absolutely stuffed'. We were made to feel welcome for the whole night even though we had the restaurant to ourselves for much of it, and ended the evening with a nice long chat with the owner and her husband (who cooks most of the food). We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely restaurant to anybody that is visiting this area. PS We have only marked the restaurant as an 'Average' for atmosphere because it was virtually empty due to the music festival - I'd imagine that the atmosphere is very good on a 'normal' night.
