“great location”

great for a cheap break, newer caravans now available , great views, very warm inside pool, entertainment of an evening usual site entertainment. The views are what make us come back to this site time and again. We always go in low season so cannot comment on what it is like in the main season.

We have just got back from a very enjoyable holiday at Tencreek, we stayed for a week in one of the sunsaver caravans. The weather was mostly cold, cloudy and raining but we still had a lovely stay, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and the site was well kept in a beautiful location.
The caravan was clean and had everything we needed, the only negative we did have was that the caravan was very cold, there was a heater in the double bedroom which although on the whole time made the room no warmer, there was also a gas heater in the lounge area which was fairly good but still didn't make the caravan as warm as we would have liked and as it's gas we couldn't really leave it on when we weren't in the caravan so take extra blankets, especially to put over the doors to keep some heat in.
Also good to mention that the cooker requires matches to light so make sure you take these with you.
It's a shame entertainment and restaurant / take away are closed during the winter months, even if they just did the take away menu it would have been nice to have a night in and not cook.
For couples, would suggest taking a walk into Polperro, it does take around 2 hours each way and is about an 8 mile walk there and back but an easy route from the site and beautiful views, quite hilly though so would suggest walking boots.
Overall we enjoyed our time at Tencreek and would definitely recommend this site.

We booked a trip to Trencreek over Haloween, and we booked a Sun King. The weather was cold and raining and with the windows shut the curtains were moving with the wind. The van was very cold and damp, so we used the the pull out bed in the lounge area, with our two grand children on the benches either side, with the gas fire on. The electric heater in the double bedroom was on but with the draft through the window, this proved non-existant.
The staff and entertainment were good for the kids, they loved the childrens entertainment

This site is almost perfect for what we were looking for, dog friendly caravans and a base close to Looe.

The Caravan was adequate, I have to admit to the very uncomfortable bed, musty smell and the fire didn't work very well, but still it was a base for our holiday, we didn't need a 5* hotel or would have booked one!

My only critiscism would be that although the caravan was dog friendly the site isn't so much, the Dog walking area is tiny although their is a bigger field next to it where the dog could run around, we were charged for entertainment tickets but were unable to take the dog and not allowed to leave the dog unattended, therefore it was a waste of money, but from what I could see, would be good during the main season for families.

I was happy with our trip and would probably consider going back to this site and did like the sunrises.

We booked a 4 night stay through Hoseasons. As a family (ourselves, 2 daughters with their children) we booked two Sunbeam caravans. On arrival we found check to be very friendly and helpful. The location is rural and quiet. Our caravans were spotless and well equipped Although the weather had turned cold the heating in the caravan was very effective. Hot water is from a modern water heater and delivered plenty of flow for a very effective shower. Cooker / fridge / microwave were full size and spotless.

This was our first experience of this kind of holiday for many years but were very impressed. We had a great short break and from our experience would certainly visit again and recommend to others.

Room Tip: The Sunbeam caravans are on a part of the site that is separate and has a hardstanding for the car w...

Just come back from our second visit this year and going back again for the Bonfire weekend in a few days time! The halloween parties were exceptional; so much effort went into them by Adam, Laura and 'Yo' Craig [the children's entertainers] My 4 year old grandaughter was totally won over by Adam who has to be one of the best children's entertainers I've ever seen. The kid's club was great and they filmed a Deano film with loads of young witches and zombies all excitedly involved. The indoor swimming pool was great and the water was warm!
Great choice of static caravans at very reasonable prices and very clean!
Food and drinks in the clubhouse also reasonably priced and well presented and the adult entertainment was a high standard.
The reception staff are very welcoming as are all the staff you meet around the park.
We like Looe and Polperro a lot which are both situated in one of the prettiest areas of Cornwall.
We will certainly be returning again next year.
Thank You Tencreek
