Went here twice on our recent visit to Cornwall. First time we just dropped in and the manager had a quick shuffle around and squeezed us in for a quick main course and a beer. The meal was so good we booked for later in the week and had a full 3 courses. Terrific little restaurant. Friendly, cosy, great food and with a quirky retro feel. Heartily recommend the lobster and hot spicy crab! We will definitely eat again whenever we're in Cornwall!

Pre-booked a birthday meal for my 9 year old son, he was delighted. Started off with mussells which he loved and the had his favourite spag boll with garlic bread, a very satisfied birthday boy after his meal! I opted for garlic mushrooms in red wine, which I've never seen before (normally white wine) and I must say they were absolutley amazing, full of flavour and would definately have them again. I also had the spaghetti and really enjoyed it. The misses had the chicken and massala sauce and this was equally as nice. We'll definately return, remember to book to avoid dissapointment.

I will start by saying all of the food was very fresh and well cooked...........if you like the 1980's.

To start, my girlfriend had the scallops which were tasty and again very well cooked, although they were swimming in half a pint of garlic butter, which was nice, but a little too much. I had the garlic prawns, which in a good way were nice as they were local, however, such small prawns needed a flash in the pan and not a few minutes!!

We both had the fillet steak for our main and you couldnt complain about the portion, however, to cook a steak of that size medium rare left 20 percent of it rare and 50 percent very rare if not blue............and yes, swimming in a tastey under reduced sauce!

The staff were very polite, helpful and there was a nice local feel to the place, but the food just missed the boat in my opinion..............im not a food snob and had many a fab pasty, fish and chip momment on the beach, but for £18 a steak, i personally like a little more attention to detail

This is a gorgeous intimate restaurant and the waiter on the evening of Monday 13th May 2013 was amazing. Very friendly and attentive. It is a tiny place so I'd recommend a reservation as it seems very popular too. The food was just perfect. Fabulous 3 courses and reasonably priced too. Certainly on the cards to visit again when we are next in Looe. Thank you

Would highly recommend to everyone visiting Looe, we were recommended by the locals and boy were they right. All of the food that we ordered was fantastic especially the scallops for starter. The Garlic butter sauce is amazing and could eat it with bread all day long. Portion sizes are more than generous, so have a light lunch before hand is advisable. Recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment as there are fully every evening. Will be back before we leave!!!
