Four of our family had dinner here on a Saturday night. We only discovered this small restaurant whilst strolling the streets of Looe that lunchtime, and it took a few phone calls before we were able to book a table. That hastle was certainly worth it, and we all enjoyed the contrast to the (admittedly excellent, but more formal) dining experience of the previous evening. Pasta starters were more than generous, as were two chicken dishes for mains - 5 breasts between 2 people! The sea bass fillets were excellent. Good friendly service and atmosphere made for a great evening. Will definitely try to return when next in town - highly recommended.

We ate here celebrating our engagement, on the 13th of October. We were greeted by Emily, who was extremely friendly, it really was service with a smile, we had scallop starters, wow!!!!! You really have to try these here, and both had a 1/2 lobster Thermidor, as some of you will agree, lobster can be messy hard work, however the chef had taken all the hard work out, leaving you just to enjoy the meal, we asked to see the champagne, list and Emily was prompt and able to which bottles they had. The dessert was gorgeous, I had tart Citroen, and my fiancé the creme caramel. A really nice touch was being offered a drink or coffee on the house to celebrate our engagement, I have owned various holiday homes in looe for over 25 years, but had never eaten here before, I can honestly say that now when we are in looe, we will be regulars of this restaurant, absolutely brilliant, value for money, superbly friendly, a must when you visit looe. Many thanks to the owners and Emily and staff for making our special night so special. See you soon Neil and kat

Papa Ninos is a hidden gem in the heart of Looe, it's always busy even out of the summer season. Myself and my husband have eaten here before but took friends after raving about the food. Yes it's small and you have to book to get in, but it's worth it - our friends now agree with us that they really do serve the best steaks (and the rest of the menu is pretty good too). Only downside is the wipe clean table cloths, but each to their own!

We'll definitely be back

Lovely food, nice atmosphere and pretty good value. The service was prompt and friendly, yes there were no chips available but not a problem given the quality of the meal. Would definetly eat here again.

Went to Papa Nino's for our 1st wedding anniversary. Lovely cosy restaurant, food was exc especially the lobster thermidor. Good value for money. Half lobster, lasagna and a bottle of wine £40....But if your a chip lover you wont get any here but really you dont need them, our meals were served with a selection of veg, salad and sauteed potatoes which were lovely. The potions are quite generous and we left feeling satisfied. The service was very good especially the waiter that served us. Just be warned take cash as they dont take cards of any sort.
