We have stayed a couple of times in the Cabin - both Summer and Winter - it's a fabulous clean, cosy, pet friendly cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Literally on the doorstep are two beautiful gardens, Trebah and Glendurgan, beaches and amazing walks. The Ferry Boat Inn (pooch friendly) is close for great pub food in a waterside location. A tranquil spot from which to explore this wonderful corner of Cornwall.
The bed was broken in all 4 corners and was apparent by the "bodged" repair of L brackets.
The mattress for the bed was very worn and thus lead to "roll together" and both my partner and I sustaining bad back aches for the duration of our stay. This lead to us leaving a day earlier than booked.
There was little in the way of cleaning stuff, hand soap or washing up liquid. Only provided with 2 towels and that was it. Expected at least a bottle/bar of hand soap.
Parking was extremely unsafe with no actual turning point. This has lead to some damage to the front end of my car due to sinking into the stones while trying to turn around, as per landlords instructions.
Property was dusty/dirty and this lead to both my partner and i having issues requiring asthma pumps. Another factor in our early departure.
No instructions were left on where to leave full bin bags. This lead to smelly bags hanging around in a very small area.
There was no "dog bin" and as this is a pet friendly place with a premium for a pet, i expected an external bin for this. Also the owners have a dog so this wouldn't be so easy to overlook.
