Turned on the off chance on. Friday night and landed a really good table. And what a place, traditional, modern, stylish all rolled into one. And let’s not forget the food. We both ordered the days specials which were both fish and as expected were fresh, great flavours and perfectly presented. Staff were great, polite and on hand when required. Well done Pandora Inn, Gastropub at its best.

Had lunch here last Friday, beautiful day and what a setting. Good choice from the menu, I decided on local crab in a jacket potato, my husband had scampi & chips. Both meals were served by friendly staff outside with stunning views over Restronguet Creek. Drive down from the main road is a bit scary at times, but well worth the effort as it was so nice, could have stayed there all afternoon, just gorgeous. Reasonable prices too for such a perfect spot.

We were meant to arrive at The Pandora in time to see a beautiful sunset out on their pier but it was pitch dark by 9:00pm when we finally got there. It’s a 15 minute drive from the Falmouth Docks area but it was highly recommended by the owner of our B&B. Situated at the end of a long road, tucked away to the right as you approach the water, it feels like a nice surprise. I would have opted for outdoor dining but as they don’t have patio heaters, we went inside and took a table on the ground floor. It was very dark inside, but once our eyes adjusted, we appreciated the atmosphere.

The food that we ate was really nice. My husband and I couldn’t decide between the fish and chips and the pan-roasted hake with chorizo, potatoes and bok choi so we shared. Both dishes were excellent. Our daughter also liked her burger and chips. I was the only one who ordered dessert as I couldn’t resist the key lime pie with raspberry sauce. We plan to be in Falmouth again later in the year and would definitely return to the Pandora Inn.

A beautiful old pub in a lovely location. Heartwarming food by a cosy fire. The kids loved the food as much as the adults. Good vegetarian options.
