Stayed 2nd to 7th June 2012, booked a double ensuite, and travelled with one naughty little dog! Nick catered to all our needs, and we had a wonderful time, and have decided to return.

What I liked best:
Bathroom furnished to very high standards, with funky modern touches, and quality complimentary toiletries
Comfortable large room
Excellent location close to the beach, gardens, and a short drive away from the town centre
Completely pet friendly venue, with complimentary doggie towels for muddy pooches
Good choice of breakfast, and wholesome cooking
Attentive staff
Nick as the owner was very helpful giving us details of pet friendly beaches on demand!

I would thoroughly recommend The Red House to fellow travellers. Friendly, lovely place, run by people who understand the needs of travellers, as well as their furry four-legged friends.

Room Tip: I would recommend any of the rooms at The Red House, all are presented immaculately.

Just came back from 3 nights Jubilee weekend.Very nice room, tea coffee provided.Host VERY welcoming ( Thank you Nick ) always happy to advise on places to visit. 10 minutes walk to town centre makes it a good location. Do recommend it and if I will be back in Falmouth will stay there again.Could write more but all is sad in other reviews can only agree with them.

We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Karen and Nick once again pull out all the stops, nothing is too much trouble, it's like being home from home. Just with the added luxuries of their breakfast goodies, attention to detail in the room with choccies on the bed and all mod cons. The peace and quiet at night makes for a fantastic sleep in a outstanding bed! My partner and I felt at ease. Having the added advantage of having your dog to stay is also a bonus. We highly recommend this well situated b&b, convenient for Fal high street and all the temptation it offers!! A relaxing time by the sea thanks once again Martin and Janni

The red house is just five star I was very impressed ,situated close to town and the beaches, I had lovely views from my window, I was in room seven, my room was tastefully decorated in a contemporary style and was nice and warm and cosy, tea and coffee biscuits bottle of water and wine glasses were provided ,there was an iron and ironing board in the room which is very handy it even had a towelling bathrobe, my bed was lovely and comfy nice white sheets and I slept like a log, shower was good, breakfast was cooked well and delicious both hosts welcoming and knew the local area and are at hand to advise places to visit like a mini tourist information !which is extremely helpful, I will definitely be coming back for another stay.

We have just spent two weeks in Cornwall staying at ‘The Red House’ hotel (B&B) in Falmouth. Falmouth was an ideal location to be based for travelling around and seeing the sights of this beautiful English county. The hotel is very easy to find and is about 5 – 10 minutes walk from the main town centre and 5 minutes walk from the nearest beach.

The hotel itself was very clean with a spacious bedroom, large king-size bed and complimentary tea / coffee / biscuits available in the room. Other facilities in the room include a flat-screen television, CD / radio, hair dryer and free WiFi.

The full cooked breakfast each day (between 08:00 – 09:00) was delicious with fresh tea / coffee and a choice of cereals, fruit and home-made jams, etc.

The hosts, Karen and Nick, were extremely helpful and friendly and gave us a lot of tips on where to visit and where best to park your car, etc. All of the personnel were exceptionally friendly, hard working and it was always ‘service with a smile’ each morning.

If ever we are in Cornwall again on holiday, we would certainly go back to ‘The Red House’ and would recommend it to anyone.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Red House - we had a very pleasant room and the breakfasts were excellent (recommend the home-made boozey gooseberry jam!) Karen and Nick made very good hosts and we hope to return at a future date.

Stayed for 4 nights. Situation near town, beach makes it an ideal place to stay. Breakfasts were varied with plenty of choice. The hosts were very accomodating and helpful during our stay and had an excellent knowledge of local area i.e. where to go for trips and eat in the evening.
No hesitation in recommending if you want homely place to stay.
