“Great Place to stay!”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

I recently stayed at The Grove for two nights on my tour of England. I cannot say enough about the hospitality of the staff. The hotel is convenient to the beach and town. The smoked haddock at breakfast is out of this world!

Our 10 day holiday stay at the Grove couldn't have been better. The entire staff from housekeeping to food service were always ready to look after any request that we had. Our room was nicely furnished, clean and quiet. The breakfast service was beyond what we expected and very prompt. WIFI was handy. This was our second stay at the Grove and we would strongly recommend this facility to anyone traveling to Falmouth. Thanks to Geoff and his staff for another great stay. Don Martin Vancouver CANADA

Room Tip: Top floor, front has the best view but there is no lift.

This is our second stay at the Grove and it was as lovely as our first stay! Very friendly staff, great room, superb breakfast served until 10am so time for a lie-in! Lovely décor throughout which suits the Georgian building. Perfect location for exploring the town, situated opposite Falmouth main event square and the National Maritime Museum. The Grove doesn't offer other meals or snacks because there is literally a huge variety almost on the doorstep with Rick Steins Fish & Chips, Pizza Express (?), great steaks at the 'Ranch', and a small Tesco all across the road. Only on small drawback for this Hotel is it doesn't have its own car park but there is a massive public car park immediately opposite. Also a huge variety of pubs, cafes, restaurants only metres up the road. This hotel is a 'must stay' if visiting Falmouth

Having stayed here before and been wowed by the place and the owners' laid back approach (the place is immaculate and beautifully decorated just the right side of 'boutique' before anyone thinks this means they're not bothered), we couldn't believe we walked in and got a room on the first Sunday of the school hols but they had a family room which they gave us for the price of a double which was brilliant. The room overlooked the harbour, which made finishing the bottle of wine we'd saved from the previous night pretty enjoyable, and was extremely comfortable with great bathroom and the tiny details such as cotton buds etc which ladies seem unable to survive without. It's a couple of minutes walk across to the Maritime Museum, restaurants and pubs so we did all that. Breakfast featured the best ever creamy scrambled eggs with mushrooms and bloody good coffee. It's a really well-run and well looked after hotel and deserves to be rated higher for view and location so close to the action in our opinion. It's one of the best feelings to be lying in bed with a drink watching darkness fall as yachts sail up the harbour with their lights on - The Grove is where you do this from!!

Room Tip: Front rooms overlook the harbour, we slept with the window open and there was a bit of late night re...

When my wife and I parked outside the hotel, we were taken aback, at how lovely it looked. Upon entry, we we're greeted by the stand-in manager who was pleasant and helpful. Just standing in reception, we just felt so warm and cosy. When we were shown our room, we were blown away. The room was huge and the four poster bed looked awesome. The room was spotless. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels and washing products. The hotel is ideally situated for everything you want to do in Falmouth. The staff were so friendly and always smiling. Nothing was to much for them if we needed anything doing. The breakfast was awesome. Freshly cooked and well presented.
WE HAD ONE COMPLAINT...... WE COULD'NT STAY LONGER. WE WILL BE BACK.

Room Tip: Speak to management.
